Status : Offline | I'm not even sure what the thread title here is saying, exactly. A little rewrite might be in order. Are such posts visible to the poster, but not others? As I've yet to see an example of this, I'm not sure what to make of any of it.

Status : Offline | My husband moderated a motorcycle site where someone's post could be deleted from the public's view, although the administrators and the poster could still see it. His site reserved it for a couple of particularly abusive trolls who were left wondering why no one was responding to their posts. I guess here if somebody posted something inflamatory or against the rules, hiding it would give a moderator a chance to contact the poster to correct it without having to delete the whole post.
