Can we send him to the Dungeon?
We need to see if it is properly stocked with instruments of torture.

@Caroline Apprently the avatar for that level is no where to be found in the old system. could somone point a lowly JA Noob to the correct image because as you'll notice she now has an admin star. I am sure you'd like to keep it, or perhaps not, but anyone know what it's supposed to be or can shoot me the image in an email?
@Traveller Oh no worries I can take it and watch out everyone I can dish just as good too.
As for the avatars we forced a resize on all of them so ya'll don't have to be bothered with it from now on.
Thanks for making me feel so welcome in your community thus far guys it's a nice place you have here and we aim to make it nicer as things go along.

My shonky memory recalls definitely three possibly four separate memberships with two of them terminating around the 7,000 mark. What can I say? There were others with me - I wasn't talking all that intelligent, scintilating, wonderfully informative stuff to myself you know......

Aha! So that's the reason you've been so scarce!! Well, it's the best possible reason of course! ..and here neurotic me have been thinking I should send you an e-mail to ask if you're ok... Obviously you're ok... heheheheh. They really should cull that smiley list and put a seperate smaller more managable one out for people who are in a hurry... or somehow wangle that it doesn't have to be re-loaded every time.
Support, our old forum unfortunately had a little button that the member could click on in our user CM settings, that if you clicked on that darn button, you'd be deleting your account permantly.. kahput...- for keeps. Caroline had accidentlly (I'm sure) clicked that button about 3 times during her tenure here, and I had the misfortune to do it myself once early last year. (I'm not used to alcohol, what can I say ... Warning! Never browse the internet when you've had too much wine)
...so what the other members have been saying, is that when the migration took place, Caroline had only around 9800 posts, so she shouldn't have become an Overseer quite yet. But then Ivinia has been saying that if you counted all her posts together from all the accounts she's had here since 2003, she would probably have had more than 20 000 posts on her tally. ...so it's probably ok that she suddenly went from 9 800 post during the current forum migration to 16 000 ..and it would be even more ok if I could get my lost 6 600 posts back too. Just saying...
Anyway Caroline, it looks like you got lucky.. I guess congratulations are in order for your gain!

We used to just have stars before the last reshuffle established the current levels. There was a suggestion that we ought to be allowed to choose our own icon. (Actually, I think that was my suggestion) So.... how about a chocolate bar? or a cupcake....? I suppose you want something game related, huh? Why not offer us a selection to choose from?

Caroline, you always said you want to be a mighty pirate - what about a pirate icon?
Support, nobody currently left on the forum is really obnoxious... they just pretend, and we all know it, and enjoy the bit of off-colouredness since these are all (actually - though somtimes you have to use a bit of imagination ) great people with a great sense of hunor... honestly. ..and some, like mois, are just occasionally grumpy or neurotic, but hey, it takes all sorts, right? We like to believe that we are generally quite a tolreant lot. I hope the new staff is too. The really obnoxious people were culled by our supermods quite a while ago already.
Risking sounding like a stuck record, I'd like to thank the new staff yet again for bringing back our lost threads!

Status : Offline | @ Caroline How about a Pirate? If you find something adventure related I will do my best to push it through. Just shoot me a PM with an idea or a link. Congrats on being the highest level BTW. Makes me kinda sad I got my star before even posting one thing and I don't get any special levels, I am just a lowly staff. LOL. Seriously what would you like? (Of course Adventure related kinda sorta)
@Traveller Firdt of al I personally cannot take credit for that one, although I did push for it. However I will let the appropriate person know how much his work is appreacited. You of course are very very welcome. And actually you may have gained an obnoxious person in me and I'll bet once things really get cookin Mark and I will feed off each others twisted humor and keep the laughs rolling. I of course meant obnoxious as in playful, fun and witty in character.

When I had a look at YaBB's file structure I noticed it was missing. I'm not sure if it was ever there, as I don't believe any image was defined.

@Caroline Congrats on the overseer level!!!

How does this merge feature work?   oes it associate dead accounts with live ones, then? I can think of a couple of people who wouldn't mind having their past dredged up and given a spit-polish, here.

The IP address was the same. Will I perhaps be able to do this myself? ..and if I can't can one of the staff please do it for me? ..after all, you guys did it for Caroline... *Puppy-dog Eyes*
I'll pay you whatever Caroline paid you..
EDIT: Ok, I tried the merge, but it's not working for me, it seems Must one use the username you were using for the forum, when it got deleted, or the username to use that you registered with? For instance, when I re-registered, i used Placeholder as the username to register with, but of course i'm using my "Traveller" name for the forum itself.

A new look for the new board? I seem to recall that Grim Fandango is one of his favorite adventures.

BTW: I don't see anyway to list the members in various ways (or at all for that matter). Is that gone also? While I'm sounding off- I would strongly request that the dark blue motif be changed to something less stark such as light brown, beige or gray. This is awfully hard on the eyes. Switch between this forum and Adventuregamers to see what I'm talking about.
