I just grabbed Fallout Tactics at GOG.com for the DRM-free-dom and the updated OS compatibility. Graphically crude by today's lofty standards yes, but still a great game - especially for under $5.
Also bought Two Worlds for a song just for the heck if it. Evidently it still has a number of technical and design problems. But as a true RPG addict, I don't care.
Along with Vampire: TM Bloodlines super cheap from STEAM, that's a huge amount of gaming for less than $20.
Cheers, Terry

And still boycotting GOG anyway for pranking their customers with ther fake close-down prank >

Status : Offline | I bought Two Worlds from GOG yesterday... can't beat the price!
I've been going back and forth and back and forth whether or not I want to give Two Worlds a whirl, so I just broke down and said "Why not?"
I'm really digging it. It's clunky on occasion. The FMV (using the term very, very loosely) is painful to watch. The voice acting is barely mediocre. And this has all been said before... but I'm having one hell of a good time. I love the open world environment and there's so much to see and do.  efinitely worth the money so far!
Playing: Skyrim: Dragonborn/Dawnguard; Torchlight 2; To The Moon; Far Cry 3
Finished: HomeFront; Far Cry 3; Dishonored
Always Playing: Half Life 2
Looking Forward To: BioShock: Infinite
Reading: BioShock: Rapture; SW: Revan

Aaw, come on Markonikov, I don't mind if you hate me, cuz I hate you already! ....but just looking at that general catalogue is enough to make your mouth drool!
i also still got plenty to do in New Vegas, Arcania and Vampire.
Well... Good! [smiley=skull_laugh.gif] I hope you spend half your time like me, tossing coins trying to decide which game is getting a turn the next time you play! [smiley=cry.gif]
I've decided I'll hold off with Vampire for now, and perhaps push on with Arcania a bit. I just hope it isn't as long as Gothic 3...
And still boycotting GOG anyway for pranking their customers with ther fake close-down prank > Oh come on!! That was ages ago! Don't you ever forgive? :-* I bet they've already forgotten that they did that stupid thing.... Hey look, I keep forgiving EA, it seems, and buying the next and the next and the next game..(- but I'm really putting my foot down now, and I SHALL NOT BUY MASS EFFECT 3! So there.)
..and in the meantime the clock is ticking on those nice bargains... the weekend is almost over...- tick-tock tick-tock
@ Terry and Xernosam: Two Worlds has huge glaring faults, especially when you start the game. The game starts off at quite a hard difficulty combatwise, the Character models have a lot of clones and look like potato dolls, and that medielvalspeak! Forsooth, I am speechless, sire!
...but the game -is- fun, especially as the game progresses and the world opens up for you. You'll find, later in the game, that the gameworld has a refreshing variety to it. 8-)

Status : Offline | I checked the sale and the only thing i would buy is two worlds, but i've already got plenty of fantasy rpg's to finish. I've bought about ten different games on gog, but i regret buying every single one of them :-/ Even games like the longest journey or sanitarium have lost their magic, i'm just no fan of 'old games'

That's not the problem, but I just can't let go once I started something. New Vegas is so immersive, it's too hard to quit and start something else.

..but of course they do.. that's the whole point of GOG: 1) No DRM and 2) all their games are tweaked to work on modern OS's.
That's why I'm such a big fan of theirs.

Absolutely! I'm sure they'll never do anything so silly again, and it was just once, anyway... [smiley=whistle.gif]

Status : Offline | Apparently normally it's 50€ instead of 30$ (+/- 20€), so for us europeans this is a very good deal.
Bought it, but i've got to finish the witcher 1 first and from dust and Deus Ex and Gothic IV and ... Living in the first world is harsh
