Status : Online | I found a way through the "stuck" place by reading the last part of the walkthrough very carefully. I had to go back to the beach, to the Merari Palace, through the portal to the prison, and thence to the grand elevator to view a scene in the elevator window. Lucky one doesn't encounter any more guards in that prison! Then back to Desert House, through the portal to the Causeway, and down the manhole to fiddle again with the controls in the inner room and then view the results where the soulbug already was installed above a switch (formerly nothing happened). Simple, really. Just not something I'd ever figure out without a walkthrough.
