Status : Offline		If you are so worried about this the only resource for you is to stop surfing the internet, lock yourself in your room and never leave it.

These days everything from your mobile phone to your debit/credit cards can be use to gather information on your spending patterns etc so the only way to be sure is to become a hermit.

Or you can just set your browser to not accept 3rd party cookies etc  :

Status : Offline		I think you reading too much into this. I've been here for many years and have yet to receive anything unsolicited that came via JA.

As far as tracking goes, it's probably to negotiate prices for advertising (like the disclaimer says...) by being able to say JA had 10,000 visitors from Europe, 10,000 from the US and 1 from Australia.  :
