No, I haven't done any plug-ins, probably because I am a total dumbie and have no idea what to do.
Have you guys ever been to the elderscroll forums. Cripes, if I had a dollar for every post over there I would be rich.
I love the characters that sound like Sean Connery, I think it really sounds like him. Also love the comments about what I am wearing and such.
There are a lot of barrows in Bloodmoon to investigate and I know there are some I missed in Morrowind. I noticed I haven't filled in all the areas of the island.
Morrowind is so perfect for me. Storyline, interaction, fighting, can be first person (which I love) or third person, great music and graphics.

Yes, Lynda Carter did voice acting for Morrowind, though i don't know where in the game it occurs...just that it's in the original and Bloodmoon, but not in Tribunal. I had no idea she was the wife of someone at Bethesda. Bethesda Softworks is in my neck of town, and I know Lynda Carter is a local.
Gayle, I've tried a couple plugins...some work, some don't. The good thing is there's an option menu to turn off and on any plugins, so you aren't stuck with them. But you cannot save the game with a plugin active and then uninstall it and keep the saved game. The ones I've enjoyed are unoccupied houses which you can move into ...and decorate! Part of why i'm only level 9 now....I keep furnishing my cottage Also got a plugin that simply allows you to display books on end and not just on their side...great for decorating the library
Haven't tried the quest plugins...but there is one i might...it's very popular it seems and it involves vampires..

I believe the version you're referring to is the console version (xbox i think) only, the pc version is still only sold as the original and two separately purchased add ons.

Update: Got it and installing it as I type Interesting thing (from an IT viewpoint). I check the websites of two stores to see if they have the game. Store 1 has it, Store 2 does not. I go to Store 1, they don't have it. I go to Store 2 (which shouldn't have it) and of course, they do have it. Centralised stockmanagement isn't really that hard (considering every piece of machinery involved is automated and can be connected to a network).

Don't rush to join a house because you can only join one and if you get kicked out you can't join another one.
And visit the elderscrolls site. Cripes, if there was just one or two adventure games of this magtitude, it would be wonderful.
What is strange, the first time I installed Morrowind and played a few minutes, I really wasn't interested and took it off and a few weeks later tried again and now here I am, a Morrowind junky.

I would just like to note that with this game, a good graphics card makes a very big difference! I started out playing the Morrowind on an nVidia GeForce2 AGP, but this week got an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro and it's almost like two different games.
Now, not only am I able to play at full resolution with maximum view distance without slowdowns, but the graphics are amazing- with the new card landscapes and water look like they're out of a movie, not a videogame. (I must admit though that now that the water actually has reflections, it's tougher to fight fish unless your head's underwater.)

I thought my GF 3 Ti was good until I got the new card. You are right. Before if I switched cards, I really didn't see much of a difference (am not sauve enough I guess) but this time there is a big difference.

It is hard to get into it though, with Baldurs Gate I had no trouble learning and levelling up, but this game is pretty hard. Even the rats are kicking my behind.
Thing are better now though, I managed to steal an entire gear from the Imperial Soldiers and am able to do some battles now (yay, just leveled up to lvl2)
Funny bit, I'm in a room in a castle, there's loads of equipment around, but also a guard. I open a door, walk through it into an hallway and the guard follows me. So I walk back to the room and close the door, the guard can't open it and is still in the hallway! So I decided to steal an armor and sword and they didn't bust me

That's the way to steal when starting out or later in the game. You can also pickpock but is tricky until your pickpocking level is up.
Also, if the guard or whomever leaves the area and you are quick.
I just became head of the Trisk Mead Hall and bought the History of Trisk Revised and I am in there and how I got to be the head. I think that was very clever game programming.

In Morrowind you can become the leader of everything but you never get really rewarded by anything new. All the freedom you have can be easily exploited as well. For example, I found "wealth" in the first hour of the game and quite a good weapon by using a dirty trick. No cheating, mind you. Dammit, I have to play that game again. And be it just for the looks of it.

For me, the main problem in BG2 was it's ending. i found that instead of getting more excited as i was nearing the end i was getting bored. consequently i never finshed the game. Also i have to say that while BG1 is a terrfic game it's ending is very bad. i put a LOT of hours into the game and when i realized that that was it i felt like Roman Polanski had something to do with the writing of the plot.
Right now i'm playing Gothic 2 whivh seems very promesing indeed - altough very heavy on the computer.

Gothic 2?? Where in the world are you? It's not here in the States yet, they keep pushing back the release date. I'm looking forward to it.

A word of warning the game is very heavy, i have a solid computer which runs most games without a problem but this game - it's very hevy - which is strange since while the graphics are good they aren't that amazing.

It was originally to be out here in May....then got pushed to July...and now it's due here in October!
Thanks for the performance warning....Gothic works fine for me, are the required specs much higher for Gothic 2?

Also the game sometimes stucks.
However the preformance of the game itself is fine and it got a lot better after i downloaded new drivers for my graphic card.
all and all i'd recomennd the game from what i've seen so far - altough it's not for begienners.

Think I have to finish the mining quests and maybe there is one or two side quests to do but have been all over the place. The main quest is really great.
When you did get through with all of Morrowind, keep it up and don't get rid of it. Rumors are that there will be another expansion maybe or a whole new game but either way it would be a while before a new game would show but perhaps another addon will be in the near future.
My problem with the first Gothic was technically and did get almost all the way through before it just crashed and crashed and their support is lousy. But that was another computer. This one is newer and had two hard drives put in. One for games and other for the regular stuff.
I will play Gothic II and look forward to it, just hope that the bugs I got in the first one are gone in the second one.
Was having problems saving in Morrowind yesterday and the light came on in the attic that I had zillions of saved games. Well, come to find out I had 2 gig of saved games (talk about being insecure about having to go back in a game), so cleaned them up and now running like a dream once more.
