Hmm I recall doing something like that with Gabe Knight 2 and another older game. I'm thinking you're going to have to go virtual CD player though, for which you need special software. I think you can make one image out of all 5 discs, but before I say more ( I'm slightly fuzzy on how to do the latter) let's see if someone more up to scratch will help you out. For the copy-protection, googling "no-CD patch Schizm" should do the trick.

Status : Offline | Thanks Trav - actually I just re-installed it to see if there is a FULL option, which there is. But it still asks for a disk to play - my hope is that it will only ever ask for CD1, so that I only need to make an iso of that disk. btw I use MagicCD for images which is very simple to use. I've also edited the cd drive letter in Schizm.ini to point to the virtual drive.

Anyway - yes, what I was trying to say, is that I managed to make a single image out of all 5 discs, actually, and didn't have to switch on the virtual, which would be as much of a pain as with the actual, innit?

..and re the no-cd I haven't tracked one down yet, at least not at any of the usual places. Finding those patches is one of the first things I do when I buy a new game lol..

You might need to use a consolidated DVD with a particular disc label, say, or change some Windows registry value or something of the sort.

Status : Offline | Hmmm... so far as i can tell the game still asks for discrete discs [1-5] even with full install. Annoying - hope I can find a no cd patch. Also, I haven't found live links to any game patches that were released. I did find a torrent with 3 patches but my version of Schizm doesn't seem to recognize them - I have build 744.
