I'm trying to get SotL running in XP but the game doesn't recognize any of the CDR drive letters I've tried. I can re-letter as low as E, which I read someplace the game was able to see, but without any luck. Made iso's and mounted to EFG with MagicDisk - no luck either. I can't re-letter to D since that's my main data drive and I don't want to mess with it.

Does the game have to be installed in C I wonder? Ayone have any suggestions?

Answered my own question: disabled my virtual drives prior launching from real CD re-lettered to E worked.

Update: also found that by unplugging the real CDR data cable it runs off a mounted ISO, in case anyone is interested. It runs off iso without CD spin up lags, but haven't gotten far so not sure if movies etc. are effected.
