Yes, absolutely. Having to listen to myself -- make the same slow comment every time I did some comment action -- just about killed my ability to enjoy the game.

Ugh, yes - that slo-w halting way that he talked... :-X  IIRC, you can't skip dialogue in the game either?

Nope.

I know because I clicked on Jemima way too many times in hopes of new dialogue lines.

THEY NEVER HAPPENED.

That was Marko, and I believe he was supposed to be some sort of entrepreneur, actually.

I'd agree about the mailman: he had an absolutely awful voice...

that awful voiced guy in Keepsake, made me toss the game.

and the spanish guy in The Longest Journey, i got sooooooooo tired of his superior and elitist attitude and his smarmy spanish accent. he was a creep of the first class.

Those are the two that come to mind.

Malcolm in the third installment of Kyrandia, i was so sad when they devoted the entire game just about to the worst character of the series but it did have to have a vilain. I guess.

Jenny, you haven't mentioned the voice of Max in Sanitarium. I kinda liked his very dry approach to his lines, such as: "Well, I think I'll just stand around and scratch myself." when the player didn't move him around quick enough to suit him.

But then, I like an old, stale, dried-up piece of toast, as well.

My favorite parts of the game were when Max was playing as a character other than himself -- so I didn't have to hear him whining.

Baron Wittard's way too frequent use of flickering lights...particularly when one has to try to read something as they're occurring.

I guess they're supposed to be part of the "scary" atmosphere, but the only scary thing about them for me is the amount of eye-strain and aggravation they can cause. >

They gave me a headache. I wish they could have been disabled.

Jenny, I do believe you have a hit title on your hands. First, there was Max Headroom, then Max Payne, and now, Max Whiner.
