Status : Offline | Dark Fall: Lost Souls takes place in the same deserted train station as the first Dark Fall, only a few years later. It's not really a direct sequel though, and the "horror" is more "in your face" than in Dark Fall: The Journal.

Status : Offline | What I liked best about previous Jon Boakes games was that he could build up the suspense so that something small, like a shadow skittering along the foot of a wall or a change in a picture, could be startling. Lost Souls didn't attempt to be subtle. You'd encounter various malevolent entities/growths -- many of which (in my opinion) were more disgusting than scary. So Lost Souls is my least favorite of his games, despite technological improvements like higher resolution and the ability to pan.
But if you like horror games in general, give it a try.
