I just purchased Sentinel
escendants in Time for Windows and have tried to load it. I followed the instructions and got the following. Disk 1 seemed to run fine and was proceeding with the installation. At one point, I was asked to select program group but was given no advice as to what group to select so I hit next. I then got the data.001 message and inserted disk two and hit ok. At this point, I got a screen with a folder Data.001. I clicked on the folder and got a message that the file could not be read and I was to select what program was used to create it (I do not know). I hit look for program on the internet and got the following message "XML page cannot be displayed". Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Ok removed the disk and tried to close the installation window but it would not close. I tried shutting down my computer using the shut down botton, but message would not go away and computer would not shut down -- had to just pull the plug. What the devil is going on. I would really like to play this game.

When you get the message asking for data.001, put the next CD in the drive. Dreamcatcher neglected to adapt the game installer for CD, so instead of asking for the next CD you get that message about data.001, (which is on the next CD, but they don't tell you that).

Thank you for the reply however the instructions states that and I have placed the next CD  in a I get the situation I discribed.  I have tried to load Mysterious Journy II and have run into the same problem.  It appears my computer cannot read the files for it does not know what program was used to write them. I think I need programs the can read .amc and .rez files I think.  I know this is an older game that I am trying to run and maybe I am just wasting my tiem and money, but I really like this type of game.

Have you checked which CD has the data.001 file on it?

If nothing else works, copy the files from both CD's into a folder on your hard drive, then run the install/setup file from there. Some people even had to do this back when the game came out, so it's not caused by a new computer.
