Status : Offline | When you get the message asking for data.001, put the next CD in the drive. Dreamcatcher neglected to adapt the game installer for CD, so instead of asking for the next CD you get that message about data.001, (which is on the next CD, but they don't tell you that).

Status : Online | Thank you for the reply however the instructions states that and I have placed the next CD in a I get the situation I discribed. I have tried to load Mysterious Journy II and have run into the same problem. It appears my computer cannot read the files for it does not know what program was used to write them. I think I need programs the can read .amc and .rez files I think. I know this is an older game that I am trying to run and maybe I am just wasting my tiem and money, but I really like this type of game.

Status : Offline | Have you checked which CD has the data.001 file on it?
If nothing else works, copy the files from both CD's into a folder on your hard drive, then run the install/setup file from there. Some people even had to do this back when the game came out, so it's not caused by a new computer.
