Gosh Trav, so sorry to hear that. Ouch.
I wish I had posted something the first time you indicated you were still looking for her, esp if it was during act one. I just assumed that...guess I assumed wrong.

"Some hours?" I'd have to go back to before Deep Roads, and I was at the Qunari gate for the final thingie of act 2 when I realised all of this.
It took me at least the last week to play through the Deep Roads and the entire act 2...
I guess I'll have to make the decision to go without her; :'( and all this time I kept hoping that I'll get her sometime, somewhere in act 2... [smiley=hair_pull.gif]

I suppose I should have looked it up, but it sounded to me like she only became available to all of you in act 2. I was starting to wonder, but I kept hoping...
So did you manage to beat that huge bug monster now?

Well to put a positive spin on it her character is about one fo the most in-your-face sluts of any rpg. Basically throws herself at you all the time. She's the like polar opposite of Aveline.

Hehe, although quite funny, I do think that no 1 is a gross overstatement of how thinks really work. The player has to romance the character - I mean, there is a clear large glowing heart next to the "romantic" (some quite cringeworthy) responses.
Perhaps the problem lies with the fact that some of the straight male gamers (certainly not all of them) do not know that a heart indicates romance? :
From what I saw in the text description the author made, aparently he "fell" in a situation in which, for not wanting to loose friendship points, he had to romance with Anders or else he would loose immediate 10-15 Rivalry points.... (whatever all of this means, ).

As to the second comic - that is indeed a good one. Still giggling about that one, actually.
Glad you liked it, although not playing any of the games and not having much experience with RPGs in general, I think this comics nails spot on some problems with the whole "grinding" for upgrading yourself through experience points.

Ok, thanks, but the thing is that I would have liked to fight as her.
Atm, I take possession of whatever tank I have, so as to let him/her run in front during non-combat, and deal as much damage as I can during fights with that character. From what I've seen with Isabella, she does some cool leaps and moves, and I really think it would have been fun to fight as her.

Hi Techno. Yes, I realise that this is what the author is implying, but he's talking a bit of rot there. Nowehere does one lose friendship points for not clicking on the "heart" (romance ) option. You can do a friendly response, a sarcastic response (I often go for those) or an agressive response, and if the character is romanceable, you often get to choose a romantic response as well, (which is clearly marked as romance with a heart icon) and which is usually something like: "'Ooh, you can always shack up at my place if you like - I'll keep you safe." or: "Ooh you're too cute/sweet for this or that"
Why a straight male would feel he needs to say things like that to another male just to keep a friendship, beats me. It somehow makes one wonder if anything a guy like that says to us girls is ever sincere...

So, I'm not sad not having her anymore..

Well, I've found the following ones good: Varric/Daisy, Isabel/ Kitten, Varric/Anders. I must say I really love the chemistry between Varric and Merril. She actually seems to bring out the best in him.

Yip, it's Isabel's name for Merril. The 2 of them seem quite fond of one another...

Isabella explains to Merril that it is procedure to let lonely men wait even longer.
Merill thinks that is so sad since the men are already lonely enough.
Isabella sighs, "oh Merrill" :

Varric/Aveline are my favorites but banter amongst my main gorup (them + anders) just isn't that all great.
Gonna try it will all females, Aveline/Merril/Isabella, hopefully no cat fights.

I sincerely hope Laidlaw gets fired before any new Bioware games get made. Maybe it's not him, maybe it's EA.. I swear I will never buy an EA game again! [smiley=furious.gif]
That was the most atrocious ending to any game I had ever witnessed. :'( ...and what the heck happened to the so-called story?
Ugh, all I can say is that I feel disgust that they charge people money for this utter rubbish. [smiley=eww.gif]
This is the worst disappointment I've ever felt after completing any game.

Maybe it would be a bit less bad to people who had not chosen to play as a mage, but to me it was bad - no matter which way you look at it.
..and please don't be tempted to read the spoiler thread I made - it will completely spoil a very surprising twist (one which I found completely nonsensical).
I ranted and raved in that thread, because I needed some closure, but I warn you again - please don't read it until you are finished with the game.

Ines, I'll not say a word further for now, but I'd be very interested to get your opinion once you have finished.
Just for interests' sake, so who did you settle on as a love interest in the end?

Hmm, perhaps not having Isabella included might not have been all that important but since it has been brought up it now forces me to think how the story was altered. I would presume the heart of it comes down to the consequences related to her stolen relic, if and how.
I’d imagine this particular ugly situation would have had to have been integrated differently: Spoiler Alert[img]http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb35/Camaroboy1968/DA2_10.jpg?t=1302033974[/img]
Perhaps this as well: Spoiler AlertThe Champion Killed the Arishok in single combat? It just sounds so…romantic. Perhaps I will research this later on.
Wondering now if I’ll be able to squeeze out another twenty-eight hours. Probably so.
Anyhow, regardless of how all ends I’ll deal with myself.
@Stiler That would be if you have both games? Otherwise no. (checked both my email and Bioware account)
