So i burned the dvd of simon the sorcerer 5, i begin to install it, but suddenly it appears a message error about "cab" or some like that, if i click on retry the message is still there and if i click on cancel this game doesn't complete the setup; can you help me please?

cab files are compressed files.
If you're missing a cab file, or the cab file you burned to DVD was corrupt, you'll get an error message during the install.

Yes the cab files are like packages for the game files they are needed for the successful completion of the installation. Your install disk may be damaged or dirty, try cleaning it with a very very clean and soft cloth, and make sure your DVD player reader is working correctly.
