Status : Online | That's the strange thing. It was nowhere near as painful as I thought it'd be. I've had dental work which was more painful.
The tattoo guy gave me some numbing lotion for it. About two hours into the tattooing, I noticed I could feel it, and told him so. He said "Yeah, it only lasts for about an hour", so I'd been feeling the full sensation for an hour and hadn't realised that was as bad as it got.
It's now about two days later, and the tattoo is in that 'gross-looking' stage... Just looking at the picture there makes me envious of how it looked right then once it was done, and how it'll look once it's all healed up again.
http://www.wowwiki.com/Horde for those who are curious as to what the picture actually is.
And because it's relevant, I also found this page - http://gameaxis.com/friday-fives-video-game-tats/ and I have to be honest, the circuit board design is VERY tempting...

I thought about getting some tats to hide the varicose veins on my legs, but it would have to be an entire seascape or a blue whale to disguise everything.

Aren't you concerned, though, when you wear lederhosen for Oktoberfest, that the socks will cover it up?
Me, I can't wait for Bierfest. I get to wear my dirndl tracht.

Nothing for it, Mr Wolfboy, but you're going to have to show us a full-length pic of yourself, with both your legs and your arms exposed....

I held the item of clothing she had to take off while she had it done.
( fwiw: I'm totally, 100% against tattoos. May look impressive to some before age 50, but after...)

I like to be 100% against them as well - especially the well placed ones -

Come to think of it Dave, I never did thank you for being such a gentleman and waiting patiently outside with her silk undies in the tattoo parlor that day. Jen and I had a good time holding each other tight whille she got branded with my name... you-know-where.
Cheers, Terry
P.S.
I also meant to ask who this Brad guy is. Hey, I don't mind sharing and evidently, he got there first. Ah well, at least in the end I got top billing on Jen's luscious anatomy.

I could have sworn she said I was her first... ( hmm, maybe she meant Canadian)

Jen recently asked me to father her child and I was still thinking about it. But now it looks as if she's been playing the field with a bunch of young Hollywood studs who probably don't practice safe sex. So I'm going to have to say no... maybe.
Cheers, Terry

But I wear temporary/drawn-on-with-gel-pen tattoos a lot D:
