Yes, I've heard of this, but where are these people hiding?  ..oh, you mean with MMORPG's? Yeah, but how does one prove it?  I mean, how do you know?  (That they are physiologically males)

Deleted UserHaha, that is very much true actually, about the males posing as females. On sites such as Facebook & co. it's usually pedophiles, I guess, but on gaming sites and MMORPG's, the reason is quite unclear to me. maybe Jane Jensen should make a game about that.  [smiley=laughing.gif] You know how guys immediately start making "juicy" comments about females on chats like that, or start flirting or something... And they always expect them to return the favor... Thankfully, women are still, hmm, less flirty and, how should call it, more shy and loyal, I dunno, just less likely to do that. If women all thought like men, they would all be whores, y'know, and that what those guys must think. Y'know, if a female is playing WoW, she must be looking for a boyfriend. They(not me, that's a bit too lame for my tastes) just want some chick who will fall at their feet and over the web. Like, instead of this scenario: "Say, you're a chick, right? So, how's your ass like? Is it squeazy , round and meaty? -What? You pervert! You men only care about our behind! -Not true! I like boobies too! Care to share their image with me?  or- Freak! Fuck off! or- I have a boyfriend, and even if I didn't blah, etc, etc.  [smiley=blahblah.gif] Or she just puts him on an ignore list. Anyhow, since they are not likely to find a doll like that, they make one and say what they always wish to hear.
This is just a hypothesis, or more likely, just random guessing. I have no idea is 1% of what I said is true. I have never had those affinities... to pose as a female, I mean.

Lots of guys play with a female avatar, if the avatars are attractive, just to have some eye-candy in front of them all the time.
Apparently the reason why some men pose as females in MMORPG's, though, is that some males give females "gaming favours" more readily than they would to other males.

Anyway, as I said, -in order to avoid all the hassle you mention above, I simply pose as a male or shut up about my gender when  chatting on websites known to have a bit of a sexist slant.

That about female avatars, I totally understand. I mean, I love tomb raider.

They never do explain how she comes into possession of it, do they? It might just be a lucky (plot) coincidence.

Deleted UserIndeed, it is not explained. it is mentioned twice, so it can not be a coincidence, I think... Well, I wish that it isn't because that gives me hope for a sequel that will explain everything!

I wish they never mentioned the amulet, everything about it was absolutely unnecessary.

It feels like a dropped plot point. They probably had something in mind for it, but at one point or another, they decided to drop it, only leaving traces of it in the finished game.

I figured as much, but that was one plot hole that could have been cut out easily. Oh well!

Why do you keep asking me that? Is it that important to you?

Deleted UserSeems like a rather rude question if you ask me.  Especially given the fact that Child of Dunwich appears to refuse to provide his or her own gender information. :

According to some (now probably outdated) statistics that I read a few years ago, a full half of all male MMO-ers have a female "main", while only about 1/5 of all female gamers have a male "main".

I have lost the will and motivation to live, let alone post things... It's so hot here.... I hope I'll regain enough life force in the evening... Anyways, dona, where do you hail from?

We all might have strange ideas about Dona (mine involves tea), but that is a rather abrupt question.

My plan never actually went any further than tea...

(It should be pointed out that I have a slight tea addiction, I drink about 2-4L of it every day, and I've found that almost everything becomes better with tea)

I'm one of the youngest, so probably not.

@Fnord Let's see. You are addicted to tea. You are addicted to puzzles. I think I know your secret identity!

(I go from loving tea to not being able to stand it, but I never refuse a good cup of rooibos *_*)

Oh, you're Swedish? Do you listen to Viking and Black metal? We were all meant to be British, but not all are worthy...

Zato valjda izgledqaju likovi drugacije u svako cut sceni... A podestila si me, jos malo pa nam stize i Duke!!!!!!!!!!
