Then i used the map to fast travel to where i think i lost him, and after taking a few steps, there he was behind me again.
Wow, but a certain place you go to for the tree quest is beautiful! I'm not going to put that in spoiler tags, to encourage ppl to carry on with that quest if they haven't already!

That indeed seemed to be an issue while Lydia and Faendel were in the house, but not since they left. The items "thrown" by the random NPC were all where someone could reach (two low shelves and a table).
Yep, the tree sanctuary is beautiful! I really loved what you could do withSpoiler AlertNettlebane :>

I can't remember ever having spent that much time on a game, i love it!
Unfortunately i've got to go back to work tomorrow

That's why the lockpick perks aren't completely worthless.

Are there any open lock spells in skyrim?

Status : Offline | Let's hope so Mark! I am not looking forward to later on when I'm encountering 15 master-level locks in a single dungeon, and wasting 20 lockpicks on each!
I also haven't worked out how to grab onto ledges, if that's even possible. I realize this isn't Tomb Raider, though it does feel like it at times in some of the dungeons

Unfortunately i've discovered such a dungeon. It's a huge one so i wasted >50 lockpicks on that one, when i ran out i used the console cheat to open them

What we really need is the ability to levitate like you had in Morrowind. That really helped to get to hard to reach places in dungeons. (although you had telekinesis in both Mwind and Ob) though I suspect in Skyrim you can hop on to boxes that you maneuvre, same as I used the "floating paintbrush" glitch in Ob to stand on to reach some of those shiny Aeylid welkynd and varla stones that were out of reach. I suspect they were meant to be reached via telekinesis; - I haven't spotted that spell in Skyrim yet, but apparently it is available in the game. (So I've heard)
Of course, just imagine how cool it would look if you could levitate over mountain and valley in Skyrim, and see all the scenery from an elevated vantage point!

I've used tcl to walk through or fly out of out of some glitchy places. Thank goodness for the console.

*edit* I just ran into an interesting bug. I did the quest where you are supposed to retrieve 3 books. In the 1handed tree there is a perk that gives you a chance of performing a decapitation with a 1handed weapon when using a power attack. During the last fight in that quest, that perk triggered early on, but as this was supposed to be a bit of a boss battle, it did not kill the enemy. It did remove its head though, though that did not stop it from teleporting around, shouting things at me, and casting spells.

Tried that already and, nope, doesn't work.

Wow, this game's soundtrack is lovely. I'm finding quite staisfyingly freaky things up North. ..and found some Dwemer ruins! Yay, it was something not included in Ob. I hope one can enter them!

Btw, I'm having surgery done tomorrow after which i'll probably not be able to play for about a week. Oh, well, but it has to be done, so... I must say i'm rather afraid, not as brave in RL as I am in TES
Well anyway, you guys must all enjoy! I'll still pop in once or twice, probably, before i go in.

There seem to be at least 4 Dwemer ruins in the north, i don't know whether there are in the east or south because i haven't been there yet

Jeremy Soule really did knock it out of the park with this soundtrack. He's becoming the Hans Zimmer of game soundtracks. Tempting to buy the soundtrack that's coming out (4 cds, quite large), even think I might get the autographed version.
I have to say, I don't think I'm going to bother with companions/followers with this game, playing a melee character thiees npc folloers you can use just get int he way SOOOOOOO much in combat it's infurating, trying to attack thing sin melee and they jump right in front of your attacks an dthen you end up hitting them/making them go aggro toward you.

It's getting a bit fustrating because i love to loot dungeons and spent my money on some goodies

With Smithing I have spent a couple thousand on supplies along (Iron/steel ore and ignots, leather, etc).

In Whiterun make sure you read the books in Wizard's area of hte Jarl's castle. In the back left of his room there's another small room with two bookshelves there and books on them. A couple of the books lead to some "things" that you might be interested in.
It's neat how they actually people who read the in-game books things from them, something I wish more games would do that feature that.
