Topic: Questions (new) PSP version of Shadow of Destiny
I have some questions about the differences in the (new) PSP version of Shadow of Destiny. I have played both the PC and PS2 versions of the game. I found 2 links on youtube for a play through of the PSP version part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDIgJLAR8oI part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsyiVv_gHY4&feature=related
I have noticed the following changes: The map of the town looks different as well as the digipad when you are choosing your destination. There are different voices for all the characters. Some dialog is different. There are some new characters that aren't in either the PC or PS2 versions. I think they were newly added to the PSP version. The characters seem to just be there to add extra detail to the game. One character explains that the player should get a historical map at the town hall.
Other characters tell historical information about the town. Like the tree in the square is 500 years old.
There are versions of the man and woman with briefcases in Margaret's time the 1580s. If Eike talks to the man and then finds the woman. The woman thanks Eike for telling where the man is. She then goes looking for him. Later in the game Eike will meet her again in the square and she remembers Eike.
I've noticed that no other reviews of the PSP version of the game mention the new characters at all. I don't think talking to them will change anything in the game or effect how it ends. I might be wrong about that. I don't know if it will effect getting 100% percentage of all chapters.
If anyone has anymore details about the PSP version please reply.
