The zip you're referring to is the source code one? As for the .exe, it has this weird name: thewhitechamber1.7SETUP.exe
Isn't the first dot (version) inappropriate?
But regardless of that, the downloaded file isn't recognized by windows (the icon I get is the standart placeholder whenever windows doen't know how to open a file :-/).

Status : Offline | File names can have as many (or as few) dots in them as they wish. This is particularly true in Unix environments, where file-name extensions (like .exe) are far less common.
You can't kill someone in a studio.

Just right-click on the downloaded file ("thewhitechamber1.7SETUP" , select "rename" and add the ".exe" extension to the filename without changing anything else ("thewhitechamber1.7SETUP.exe". You'll notice that the icon will change to a form recognizable by Windows as a self-extracting installer. Double-click on it and you're done!

Status : Offline | As JKing stated, windows will accept any number of "." in the filename - it's the last occurrence that describes the file type. It sounds like the download may have omitted the extension.
