You might check to see if there's a dump like that near where you live. There used to be a computer repair shop near us, but he moved from the intersection of Penna. Bob Radcliffe's Brite Lite Cpt 2328 Worton Blvd West Mifflin 15122  412) 469-2850 Midrange Plus Service Inc 3204 Lebanon Church Rd West Mifflin 15122  412) 469-0131 We Fix Computers West Mifflin 15122  412) 462-2800 in our town, have to call them up to inquire where they're are for dumpster diving?
EDIT - it looks like the above places are now defunct - have to go check out Data Center at 2627 Skyline Dr, but the yellow pgs say it's in Turtle Creek and that Internet entry must be out of date - so guess I'll have to call up each of these numbers I've listed to find out where they are (if still in business).

What prompted Inland to notice this (would like to know so I can get real smart at troubleshooting computers)?

Basically just checking the same sort of things Jenny looked at when she pointed out that the front panel header wasn’t wired correctly.
