I can only think of Sam & Max Season 3, as it uses real-time shadows. I cannot play it on the quality above 5 (out of 9). Then again, my machine isn't exactly "high-end". Other Telltale Games might demand a better PC as well.

If you want to view a game in its full video glory, there are plenty of games that are taxing and require lesser systems to roll back the quality.  Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper is one. Dreamfall got to my system until I upgraded my computer.  Even URU playing offline (an old game now) can tax an older system. Playing online is more taxing.

It's a good thing you brought this up, Blount - I'm saving my pennies so I can afford the best hardware to custom-build myself a new PC mostly for AG's.

I built my own a year ago and love it.  I didn't get top-of-the-line components, either, but it runs AG's wonderfully, and only Mass Effect lagged it on the action-game side.  I play Fallout 3 and Oblivion maxed out with a Radeon HD 4670 and 2.8 ghz/Dual core and 4 gigs of RAM (which only play at 3 with XP).   Good, but not top of the line by any means.
