yes in the beginning i was sure you would never find out... and i also emailed alkis telling him not to post anything here but i did give away lots of info (actually everything except my gender) without which it would probably be impossible... are at least 10x harder
Oh, I too am only human... and I definitely can get stuck in a game. Then it's a toss up whether I will have enough drive to figure it out on my own or find a walkthrough. I did notice that I seem to have gotten better at adventures lately and I need walkthroughs less than in the past. But sometimes I still do. And I definitely enjoy adventures!
don't we all... and yes the need for walkthrus fades with experience but still they are handy at times... and i mostly noticed me getting better by hearing ppl finding hard what i thought was easy (syberia is a recent example)
I came up with that little "Solving Mysteries for Fun and Profit" phrase at the spur of a moment, but later I realized that it's more true than I thought...

Not quite. Finding bugs in programs is often full of mystery too. And I am pretty good with a debugger. It requires the same kind of analytical thinking adventures do. Finding hidden clues and stuff

yes i thought of that... i didn't remember the sierra thread but there was another thread where i implied i know him so just to be on the safe side..... when you came up with my name i thought he told you that without having read my mail, so i sms'd him and he reminded me of that old sierra thread

This is the trouble with the internet, you can be someone that isn't really you. That's why I made that other topic. A person can put anything they want in their info.
If this Aya person says he/she is male, are you still going to believe it? Does it matter now? The thread went on so long, no one cares now, if this person is male or female, or a gay person. Aya can leave this forum now, and come back with a different name, email addy, etc....... and 'who's' going to know??
Michal was becoming infatiuated with Aya, thinking female, and now he is defensive....or disappointed cause Aya says he is male. This is how people get hurt in these forums & chatrooms.
To me, it sounds like Aya is a very intelligent person, possibly a 'writer' of some sort, by the way his/her posts were written. Or maybe Aya IS a lawyer.
Myself, I tell the truth in forums and chatrooms, I have nothing to lie about. And hopefully others feel the same. But there is always that other person out there that likes to mess with the mind of others.

I am pretty certain that what I found out about Panayotis is true It all fits together very well.

Disappointed, perhaps, but hurt, no. I'm not a very emotional person and I can survive a little disappointment quite well. And I still had a good adventure. Thanks for the concern though

That alone might hint that you're Greek, but just because you know a Greek guy doesn't mean much. But all the circumstantial evidence adds up...

Everything was so mysterious I started doubting about Aya's sex myself, and I have met him for God's sake! Aya, next time we meet I will have to make sure, so will you let me look under your skirt?
On a different subject, such a long romance thread and nobody mentioned me as their favorite.. I'm losing my touch.

you're right about what you say... of course i said i am NOT lying and i am not... everything i said/say is true... i will not leave and come back as another person... this is my user id of choice and i came here NOT in order to pretend i'm a female but to talk about advs... of course i didn't care if ppl thought of me as male or female and the male gender sign just doesn't fit so well under Aya's photo now does it?! but i know now what you meant by calling me a "player"

well, like Michal himself says, he wasn't hurt - disappointed yes... but i agree that this kind of game could end up hurting somebody, if not played carefully... Michal though showed greater interest in solving the mystery itself, it was a challenge to him... he'd prefer me to be a woman that's true (and maybe that's what held him back at first, maybe he suspected the truth but didn't want to prove it)... of course i realised that hence my disclaimer

yes but the fact that alkis knows me personally is what eventually gave me away... so that was intended to be my final clue (since i did not remember the sierra thread)... to tell you that someone here knows me personally (that's why i didn't let you know i'm greek - it would've been very easy then) so if you found that thread where i imply i know him you would do the rest you already did

As I said several times - "possible, but unlikely". People who are good at spelling in one language are usually good at spelling in other languages. But more importantly there's your no-caps-and-no-interpunction which makes me think that you probably don't do a lot of formal writing. Again, this is no proof, but it is an "informed guess".
