Cleaning the oven, lol. But it DOES look like that!! Just make sure the gas is OFF before you stick your head in...

Been waiting for Agustin to follow up Scratches for a while now.
This should be one to look out for.

What is about adventure games and an asylum that is so... exciting? It's like the perfect setting for an adventure!
I wouldn't want to be locked up in one, mind you (of course friends and family might say I belong there)...

How many other games are set in or around Asylums? Overclocked off the top of my head is the only one I can think of which is strange because you're right, it should offer the perfect environment for some disturbing adventure gaming..

Sanitarium is the only one that I can think of. GoG has it cheap and runs on the latest machines (since it was made for Win95).

For a small part of Darkness Within you also make a visit to one.
PS. If you could count Call of Cthulu Dark Corners Of the Earth an AG, your protagonist also ends up in one there. ..but that's more the survival horror genre.

| Deleted User | I'll definitely be following this one as horror themed games are my favorite. Here's hoping it scares the shite out of me. Happy gaming.

I don't want to be a pedant, but the 'Asylum' in Secret Files is actually a Russian Military hospital, although it was probably used in the same way...

Thanks for the heads-up, Zanderat and nice teaser movie, Agustin.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your new game!
Cheers, Terry

The most prominent thing I remember from this scenario, is the guy busy painting there, outside at the gate. (Heh, and who could forget the guy with the drill and the... ok, don't want to post spoilers now.. ) :-X
In fact, this setting was the nicest setting to me of the whole game, somehow.

I really pity the Rothburians... when it's not ancient African curses, it's gunmen running wild :
I'm really glad you folks like Asylum so far! I'm positive the game won't disappoint... I can't wait to see you all wandering around the endless hallways of the Hanwell institute. It's SO darn creepy [smiley=shudder.gif]
