I might have to start all over with URU. I have no idea where I left off, where it is on my 'puter, etc. What a mess, huh? It's been months if not a year or so since I've approached it, I think. Too much has happened in between. Where does URU live now. Just Google for it and sign on? It might be just easier (and more fun?) for me to start over? I'll look around to see if I can reconstruct what and where I left off. Rhem games are NOT for me. I have no sense of direction. NONE. But I'm used to it now. Kind of. I'm always ''discovering'' new and different places that I haven't been to yet. And I always allow plenty of lost time when I go somewhere new. Oh, it's fun being me. LOL.
Yes, I agree with your assessment of what games are out there now. Not real pretty. We like pretty!!! We'll just have to keep checking while eating chocolate.

If you were on the previous online version, they will still have your registered name against your email address. Anyway, it's pretty easy and yes, you'll have the fun of doing the whole game again if you so choose.

How are your eyes? Do you still have floaters?
Thanks for asking, Caroline. It seems to vary. We've got seasonal allergies (grass seeds/pollens) in full flare atm to complicate the issue. Yesterday my eyes were so sore that I couldn't focus on my PC screen for more than 2 minutes before experiencing exruciating pain and failure to focus- they'd actually start watering if I tried to focus.
This morning I didn't put in the eye drops that the Dr had prescribed me, and suddenly they seem tons better..- makes you think, doesn't it?
I'm not touching those drops again. I've already contacted the eye specialists' rooms for new advisement, just waiting for a reply...

Caroline, After many tries to play I have hit a brick wall. First of all, which one of these...are we to use? I did the Fireplanet one and the darn thing just sat there for HOURS not doing a thing. I was never a big fan of downloads TeeHee. Got any suggestions? I'd love to play but can't get on.
Download Mirrors
* Fileplanet (Full Install - Recommended) * Atomic Gamer (Full Install) * AusGamers (Full Install) * Cyan Worlds (Downloader)

Caroline .... Did anyone know that youtube carries walkthroughs of the myst-riven games??? Or am I the last one to find this out? It's like you're watching someone going through the game right in front of you? I actually watched the Myst V game being played. I could NOT get anywhere with that game. I couldn't understand what that stone tray was that kept popping out in front of me and I truly dislike reading the walkthoughs (now I just watch it .LOL! How embarrassing :-[ http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Myst+5%3A+End+of+Ages+Walkthrough&aq=f
I think I even spotted one for the URU-LIVE thing although I don't know how that would be done.
But anyway. I sent an e-mail to the people at MystOnLine and told them of my problem and they had a couple of suggestions I'll be trying. And I also changed web browses from Mozilla to I.E. although I truly don't like I.E. So I'm downloading it now and we'll see if it works. I never liked downloading because I ALWAYS have trouble with it. So stay tuned, I just might see you there.

I guess I'm late for the party again. That's what happens when one doesn't show up here for a bit.

And another chap took a video of me doing the great leap from the concert hall roof and uploaded it to youtube. But he misspelled my name. There are 3 of us girls with similar names and I find the boys constantly get us confused although the girls never seem to have that problem.

Well, I did watch the Myst V thing but I still have no clue what that plate is coming out of my chin making me feel like those people with the plates in their lower lips. That game was the most frustrating game EVER!!!! Or maybe I just got a bad start with it.
Oh darn, can you find the footage and post it here? : Great leaps are hard to do!!! :-?

That plate you're grappling with in Myst V is for drawing on. LOL
Get yourself a walkthrough. Once you understand how it works - it is the transportation device - you won't need the w/t because the game really is quite easy and straight forward. Just a tad confusing at the beginning.
Spoiler AlertThe idea is you draw the icon for the place you wish to go to on the tablet, and the Bahro steal it and transport you there.

Did you play the whole game all the way through? I wonder if I should start all over again because I sure wasn't getting anywhere with it. Is the game worth it? Thanks for the tip ...and maybe I will get a walk-through. I've given it a true try and failed! :'(
