PS - We're implementing new changes to the forums and posts in Off Topic will be removed from your post counts and no longer counted in your post totals. I believe that makes Andromus and Sir Dave the top posters, leaving ShadowWalker with a toilet plunger on his head.
PSS - That was my late April Fool's joke.
Damn! Once again quality loses out to quantity.
Excuse me?
Cheers, Terry

Thank you Sir Dave. The feeling is mutual.
I can't help but feel that there is a common thread in all of this. Seems most liked and befriended Len only to have that perceived friendship result in being betrayed at some point.
When I first came here, I held Len in the highest esteem. The mere fact that someone at his age was so very active in adventure gaming impressed the hell out of me and I had nothing but admiration for him.
There was an incident on here where someone accused him of something and I went to bat for him. Len did the now old routine of demanding a retraction from them and accusations of slander and libel, etc.
Actually, let me be blunt here so that this makes more sense. Len was accused of being a beta tester just so he could get free games. I defended the heck out of him, but then a few weeks later on the a beta testing forum, Len (who only sent emails to the developer about bugs while the rest of us posted them on the forum) suddenly decided to post in there ripping into the developer because he had never received a complementary free boxed copy of the game. Several tried to calm him down and reason with him, but he seemed to get more and more irate about having not received a free boxed copy.
The bottom line is that this caused me to take a step back and take a hard look at who Len was. I'm sure this probably seems like no big thing to some people, but it bugged the heck out of me. When you think so highly of someone and they turn out to be someone else entirely, it has that effect on you.
Since then, after numerous events, its become abundantly clear that Len only cares about promoting Len and getting as much attention for himself as he can. We gave him our support and well wishes when Palestinian rockets were dropping into his home town. We all gave him our sympathy when he said he was losing his sight and couldn't post anymore. Then he comes back and picks fights with those same people. It's that endless theme of giving him another chance only to get kicked in the teeth again.
I'm still young (sort of), so I don't know what goes through your mind at that age. Maybe he is concerned about how he'll be remembered. With his wealth of knowledge he could have used his powers for the good of the community. Instead of letting his works speak for him, he instead chose to shove it down everyone's throat by getting in people's faces and endlessly promoting himself.
To me, that is the most tragic thing of all - in trying to build his reputation, he ends up destroying it. :-/
I could be completely wrong here. Who knows? I'm just giving you guys my interpretation of how I see things.

All I wanted to mention is: ShadowWalker, the wooden part of plunger goes in the bottom of you. The rubber cuppy thing sets on top - like a trendy chapeau.

Mark - didn't you get locked up last time you wore it like that to the shops?

Do you mean that you ARE potty, or that you were forced to go potty?

Don't you have any thumbs! :
