Deleted UserI wrote a post on this yesterday – or maybe the day before.
My post vanished shortly afterwards.
Was this simply a technical quirk or was my post deleted without explanation?
Here goes again.

For a couple of days now access to the JA+ Forums for any/all purposes (reading, posting, correcting, etc.) has been agonizingly slow – VERY many times slower than ANY of the many other Sites I access each day.
JA+ Home page, Reviews, walkthroughs, etc., etc. is unaffected and access is almost instantaneous as with ALL other Sites.

Does taking ages to access all JA+ Forums apply to me only or are other members suffering similarly?

[size=14]EDIT -

I just p[osted the above.
It took 45 seconds after entering to 'appear' here.
Normally on my setup, these things are almost instantaneous or at the worst ytake 1 or 2 secomnds - but nor 3/4 of a minute.

I hope that this post does not also 'disappear' - I'll make a copy in case it does.

If anybody knows why this is happening and that it is just a temporary hitch which will be corrected soon, please re-ly here.

Deleted UserYogibear, like the staff member who moved your original thread mentioned, it was moved  here.

If you read the title descriptions of the boards, that does seem to be the correct board to post problems re the forum/website onto.

Deleted UserThanks Traveller.

AFAIK, posts miinadvertently insertted into an inappropriate section in other Forums, like this one apparently, are also shifted to the 'correct' section.
But the poster is informed of this.

In this case however, no mentioned was made anywhere, certainly not to me, and as far as I knew my original post had been deleted.

Thanks for straightening it up.

N.B.
Acess is still VERY sluggish but I think maybe a tiny bit less badly than over the past 24 to 36 hours.
But I/m not certain about this - it's still very very slow!

Deleted UserNow tjhat your clarification has 'sunk in', I realize that had I known previously that my original post had been redirected, I would never have written and posted my 2nd post on the subject.

Deleted UserThey did put a post at the end of that thread to the effect that they were moving it. You must have missed the post.   I don't know how long they left it up.
That's how I knew,
I saw the staff's post) but you can also see the thread from the forum "home" page, in that section.

I did not claim that 'they' did NOT post that my original post had been moved.
In other Forums the notice of removal is LEFT on the Forum so that the poster knows what's happened to his post.

I have no idea WHEN my post was transferred - but when I next accessed the Forum (just maybe 8 hours later) it had vanished without any trace whatsoever.
And so I assumed that one way or another it must have got deleted -

Posted at night before going to bed late - and seen it then.
Not there next morning (here), with no indication whatsoever as to what had happened to it.
Maybe it was 'unacceptable' to the Mods to complain about the efficiency of the Forum and maligning somebody in charge? - how was I to know?
As[size=16] you very well know, I am the target of all sorts of Forum 'transgressions' and accused of all sorts of Crimes and Misdemeanors here!

Seriously Traveller - would you have assumed differently from me under those circumstances?

Do you REALLY think that I would have wasted my time and energy on writing another (longer) post on the very same subject if I had dreamt that my original post had merely been transferred to amore apropriate section and not simply been deleted?

No one deleted the post about it being moved. That is either stays active for a short period of time and gets removed by the system, or it's yet another problem with these forums at the moment.

However, Len Green, the person, was removed from these forums. That didn't apply to just a screen name. It applied to YOU. You have repeatedly skirted the forum rules and disrupted others enjoyment of the site.

I was foolish enough to believe that you would behave and play nice after realizing you created another screen name. As always, that only lasts for a short period of time before you are back at it.  Today I watched your snipe remark to the forum admin and now you attack a cherished member while playing the victim.

No doubt you'll create yet another name, but for now you are gone - again.
