Oh cool! I don't recall that specific song, and my German isn't so good, but Rammstein reminds me a lot of KISS, whom I also enjoy upon occasion. Far removed from the floweryness of Emma Shaplin and some of my other faves, but I'm just weird, anyway, so my eclectic music taste mirrors my eclectic reading and gaming tastes too, I suppose.
EDIT: Hey, I just realised that the first song I linked to, "The Mystics Dream of Avalon", ends with a picture of Caroline's avatar...

So far I'm enjoying it very much! 8-)
Incidentally, I have a profile on Last.fm if anyone's curious. For a few months my scrobbler was broken (since switching to Windows 7), but a friend of mine pointed it out to me, and it's now again recording what I listen to.

Well I had to go and check that out, after reading this. What lovely music and what a nice video. There were some gorgeous images there.
This one has 'my' avatar gazing at the temple at Petra. Thank you for mentioning this Traveller. :-* [IMG]http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/9840/fullpictureofthinkingbr.jpg[/IMG]

Good choice there Shadow. [smiley=thumbs.gif]
I listen to their CDs every Halloween and whilst delving into the Hollow.
Not sure if anyone remembers my post a couple of years ago about going to this guys house who set his place up like an adventure game. That's was at Joe Vargo's. Seemed like a nice guy, very hard to read though. He's definitely got talent on the music and art side.

I do pay attention. It's just that I'm paying attention to so much stuff that it sometimes gets mixed up. That's all. :

Ayumi Hamasaki is absolutely wonderful, she's been a favourite of mine for years.
Incidentally, I too was going to mention Last.FM and I have added you My profile for the interested: http://www.last.fm/user/MaiHem
Last.fm is a great music/radio station website that is phenomenal for finding new music suited to your tastes. You simply type in a particular artist or type of music you like and a radio will be generated for you based on your tastes. If you add some 'favourite artists' to your profile, or use the scrobbler, the site will generate a 'Recommended' radio station for you based on artists you like or are similar to artists you enjoy. I've found an innumerable number of bands I now love just by using the site, and can't recommend it enough for the music obsessed.
- oh, and I'm listening to Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade.

Hamasaki's never been so much a favourite or mine, since I found her voice wasn't well utilised being on such high registers, but her more recent albums make better use of the depth her voice possesses, so I may find myself listening to her more. If you like other recommendations in Japanese rock, I have quite a few, as I'm sure you noticed.
Oh, yes, and Rush is obviously excellence in auditory form. Obviously!

Indeed I had noticed I also agree that Hamasaki's recent work is an improvement, although I do quite enjoy her old stuff too.
I'm quite a heavy listener of J-Rock and J-Pop myself, so I know quite a few artists, but if there are artists you think are just totally amazing do let me know in case I haven't heard of them
I don't think my Last.fm account has a very accurate depiction of my music library or listenings, the scrobbler broke about 4, maybe 5 yearrs ago and I never bothered to fix it. :

[smiley=laughing.gif] Karla, you're such a hoot! Hey, I'd forgotten there was even a band called Asia. I remember now that my sister used to be a fan of theirs. So plz tell what Mozart you like? I just never really got "into" Mozart, too frilly and flouncy, EXCEPT for his wonderful Requiem. Now that is one powerful piece of music. 8-) I used to play that at top volume when driving out on the open road, and I could put foot, and it would actually give me goosebumps. [smiley=cool.gif]

That episode cracked me up for the sheer goofiness of the deaths. That one and "Bad Day at Black Rock" and "Monster Movie" are some of my favorites of the series, so far...
Back on topic, I'm listening very little music these days, mainly while I drive, and then I tend to listen to Iron Maiden. Also, I'm recently interested in Jace Everett "Bad Things".

Tell me about it, Ivinia.
Now here's one for you guys: I'd never heard of Supernatural until I followed the YouTube link. There's been no television at my hovel for the past nine years.
In the way of trivia, the Asia song Sole Survivor was the inspiration for my piece of art by the same name.
@Traveller Ah yes, Mozart's Requiem in D Minor is a favorite of mine. It was the last thing Mozart composed; he was still working on it when he died at age 35.
As I'm sure you must already know, parts of Requiem are used in the game Still Life: Dies Irae (Day of Wrath) in the opening sequence, and Confutatis <Maledictus> (When Those Cursed Enter Flames) during Vic's final confrontation with the killer.
Another favorite is Concerto No. 10 for Two Pianos. I can listen to it over and over for hours. Just call me obsessive-compulsive...
I also like Symphony No. 25 in G Minor, Piano Concerto No. 22 in E Flat, and Die Entführung aus dem Serail (The Abduction from the Seraglio).
Not all of Mozart's work is frilly and flouncy, BTW. Try the dark and creepy final scene of Don Giovanni, for instance, in which The Commendatore arrives and drags Don Giovanni down into Hell. I find it quite unnerving: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ue72gvJvpi8
