In what game can you carry...

1) A Dangling Participle

2) A human head

3) A duck

4) A miniature robot 'Puck'

5) A huge hunk of salt

6) A worthless german bank note

7) A false clown nose

A kazoo

9) A casette tape of an adult-oriented phone call

10) A worm

I realize that the first 3 are easy. That's just to make you feel smart

Let's see...

1. I think it was Companions of Xanth.

2. One such game was System Shock but there could be more.

3. If an inflatable duck counts, The Longest Journey.

5. Mystery of the Druids.

7. Broken Sword 1.

8. Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders.

10. I'm pretty sure I've played more than one such game but right now I can't remember any

I forgot my sig.

Im not sure but I think that you carry an adult oriented tape in Duckman.

Also in monkey island 4 you can carry a duck.

OK, after a bit of poking around here's a short list of games in which you can carry a worm:

- Discworld 1
- The Longest Journey (how could I forget??)
- Amazon: Guardians Of Eden
- Broken Sword 2

The list is probably incomplete. Looks like worms are pretty popular in adventures

Well, they weren't really dead or even worms, but it does support my assertion that worms seem to be suspiciously popular in adventures

Now that absolutely does it! This is not funny anymore. I wrote "my as*ertion" and look how the filter mangled it. I couldn't believe that my typing could be that bad

Moderators, is there some way to make the filtering software a little less aggressive? Please?

You think your freakin' assertion is bad, what about the damn f*$%# cheese grinding HItchcock.  Everytime I want to say Hitchcock I have to type HItchc0ck. HItchc0ck hitchthingy HItchc0ck hitchthingy.

1.? (I know this one though; I'll remember)
2. Shrunken Human Head in Master Lu/Rune(Not Pure Adventure)
3. MI4
4. RAMA
5. ?
6. Master Lu
7. Circle of Blood (BS 1)
8. Starship Titanic (There's a kazoo in another game besides this and Zak McKraken
9.  Definitely Duckman since I just beat it
10. Hopkins FBI and TLJ

You're right, I could stop using fancy words but no one's going to change Mr. Hitchcock's name
I've registered an official complaint, we'll see what the powers that be have to say. Your arguments should be convincing

So Hopkins FBI eh? I don't remember that detail, but it fits in
Hopkins FBI was one heck of a weird game. Kinda cool really. Still, in System Shock you needed to carry a human head as well - to get past a security scanner.

In Fallout 2 it was sufficient to carry just human eyes, no need to lug around an entire head. Those things are heavy.

Oh waitaminute. Monkey Island I. Eadhay of the Avigatornay. Dried, but still human. You had to carry it to get to LeChuck's ghost ship.

I see most questions have been answered.. You carried a head in The Secret of Monkey Island, and another game in which you carried worms was Simon the Sorcerer.

Do you like classic adventure games? Check out Diamonds in the Rough!

How about Zork Grand Inquisitor, where you had to carry a corpse to the guiliotine, then behead it? There was also something about this wired head that gave you a clue about the safe. Very un-zorkish.

You mean Zork Nemesis? Yeah, you carried a corpse (not far I believe) but never just a head I think. Not a very pretty scene anyway. The entire asylum world was weird.

Ok... I never stopped to realize how many different games had these objects in them (especially the worm!)

#1 is still in the air, though. An extremely popular game, part of a series. In the end of the game, the guy gets the girl

Out of curiosity, what do you think is the most popular inventory object (forgetting about keys and books)

1. King's Quest 6. I need to replay that one because I forgot all about Dangling Participle.

Most popular object? In the old Sierra games I bet it was pocket lint
Other than that... wallets/money, letters or messages. Sometimes weapons.
