Okay, I found Bioshock for $10 and loaded it up tonight.   Wow.  More action that I handle, but the world is really cool.  I'm sticking with it on Easy
Having fun so far...but Big Daddy, oh my!

Have fun! Bioshock is one of those games where Easy actually means easy - I never died once and my tactics usually involve running straight into the line of fire.

I kind of want to play it again, I missed so much stuff in my first playthrough.

Deleted UserI never got far into the game due to time constraints, so I really should be joining you soon.  Too many books/games - too little time...

I hope you like it, Halcyon, I had hoped the "atmospheric" qualities would draw you in...

That game is rather good, and the setting is incredible. If you like it, make sure to check out System shock 2 (1 has not aged incredibly well).

I envy you. The game is superb and the underground city of Rapture is too good to be true. One of the best games I've ever played in my life. Can't wait for Bioshock 2.

Bioshock is awesome!  I'm ready to go outside or at least into bigger spaces, though.  I'm getting claustrophic and feel like I'm dungeon diving in Oblivion.  I think I'm headed toward a submarine at this point.

I'm due back for a trip into the world of Bioshock also, I never got too far due to being in school at the time. This time I'm planning on giving it a proper go, the world truly was rich, dark and imaginative, the kind that I absolutely thrive on.

Let us know what you think when you get further in, Halcyon

I'm waiting the 9th of February for B2 to be released! I have seen trailers and the official site of the game and I believe that the 2nd one will be much more compulsive and addictive.

I've just heard that the scenario of the 1st is better than the second!
Can't wait to be released to find out.
