a 90 year old man in a wheelchair go to the games section and picked up Syberia and left.

Just to satisfy my curiosity dabomb, how do you know he was 90 ???  Was it someone you knew, or did you ask him his age?

When I went to best buy I saw like a 90 year old man in a wheelchair go to the games section and picked up Syberia and left.

I hope he paid for it.

welcome wings!

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

You would be amazed at the number of gamers (especially adventurers) who are "40-something", "50-something" and beyond!   While much of the industry focuses on young guys with itchy trigger fingers, there is a growing demographic of older gamers (including a lot of women) who are avid fans and spend a lot of money.
One of the most fun things about going to a few E3s was seeing all the other "older gamers" that were a part of the online press!!
I'm 45 and having a blast :-)

I've turned 15 on 15th of January

I've been playing games since a very young age, coz my oldest sis and bro were plaiyng them.  Love adventure, action like Hitman or Splinter Cell and RPGs.

Resistance is not futile, we're gonna win this thing, humankind is too good, we're not a bunch of under-achievers! We're gonna stand up, and we're gonna be human beings. We're going to get fired up about the real things, the things that matter! Creativity, and the dynamic human spirit that refuses to submit.

I guess that would include me?...I'll be 33  in two weeks and I have about 55 adventure games in my collection (we've previously established that I haven't played most of them yet....but I'm working on it!).  I suppose I fall into this category of older women gamers who spend a lot of money.

Welcome Kris/seikkailija
 and Maivor too!

I'll be 53 in June.  I really enjoy the diversity of ages, opinions, locations, etc of the members of this forum.

And the friendliness and caring too!

Hey Randy - Best of luck next week!
I wish you good news and good health.

Still adventuring after all these years!

Patiently awaiting The Last Crown: Haunting of Hallowed Isle, and Bracken Tor...

... and Asylum if it's not tooooo scary...

Hi! seikkailija!

I'm 56  and very young at heart. I enjoy  this forum so much where age makes little difference. The young seem older and the older seem younger.

I think we'll all be gaming into the twilight of our lives.
