I feel terrible for them! These are great games, but they are just not catching on with the Big Fish crowd. They're not?
***Delaware St. John lands the #1 spot for large file games, Breaks into the Top Ten of all games*** That sounded pretty good to me.

It just means it was the best seller of large downloads for that period, but based on what? BFG never gives out sales numbers on those lists, just the rank. Summer sales always suck. So being #1 doesn't mean success and a fat paycheck.
Irregardless, that money had to be split up between a few people and from what I can tell, Bryan uprooted himself and moved from California to Colorado. I hope they did well, but DSJ seems to have bounced off the radar screen while Bryan is working on a whole other game ("ecay" with what looks like a whole other company of different folks - unless he moved all of them with him.
Speaking of the whole other game, I wonder what the status is on that. I do get nervous when I read what some of these games are about, Decay sounds a bit like the movie Burnt Offerings. :-/

The original October release date for decay by Bryan Wiegele (designer of the Delaware St. John games) has been set back to December. We aren't aware of an exact date yet, but we have been informed that the game will be available at Big Fish games.
Wicked Cinder, Bryan's new company, will announce the exact date sometime in November.
Nobody likes delays, but being able to get the game for just $6.99 is very good news!
For more information about decay, visit the game's website.

| Deleted User | In response to the original post by portiafimbriata, here are my feelings and feedback for Bryan W regarding the DSJ series:
I for one would definitely like to see another installment in the series. Although the first two episodes seemed short (understandable) and a bit on the easy side, they did manage to further pique my interest in the theme of paranormal investigation.
I thought the Seacliff Tragedy, significantly longer than its predecessors, offered the best story/adventure to date supported with better than average voice acting. On the negative side, for me the slide show navigation system proved to be a major headache until I finally managed to literally memorize the entire game environment in my head, and believe me that took some time. I have no knowledge of game design but I think that given the ability to pan around at nodal positions with directional arrows to indicate travel direction would significantly make any future games simply more playable. The other thing I recall that hurt was the tunnel maze. Argh! After stumbling about and getting lost many times I finally gave up my pride and consulted a walkthrough. Of course it is very possible and probably most likely that I missed a critical clue somewhere that would have made navigation decisions logical and understandable. Be that as it may, I’ll keep DSJ 4 on my watch list.

Status : Online | I hope the games do well on Big Fish. The last time I heard an update was a few months ago and that the series was on hold indefinately. At least now there is a bit of hope that the fourth game will get released if all goes well.
