Hmm... A tricky one. As I said, most that is learned about this character is done so indirectly, but there were, as I recall, suggestions of intent. They could, however, have been attributions on the part of those describing the character of intelligent qualities to an animal entity, however.
If I were to guess, I would guess it to be intelligent.
(I may also be forgetting something, and I'm afraid that I'm typing this from a work computer, and thus don't have the game to hand.)

Status : Offline | My character is indeed the Dark Fall - well done, Shany. ^_^
The player-character, I believe, remains an AFGNCAAP, albeit with a possible last named shared with the player-character's brother.
It seems to be supernatural, with no apparent gender. It has intelligent characteristics ascribed to it (I recall a quote from the intro along the lines of "It's whispering my name. It knows my name...", and described as an individual entity.
The player's goal is, as I recall, toSpoiler Alertsend it back in time, not kill it.
To explain the "one image":
Spoiler AlertIf I recall correctly, in the caves under the garage is found a large stone, on which we find, amongst other things, an image of what I take to be the Dark Fall. It's depicted as vaguely humaniform, with large spines protruding from its back, but arms are not explicitly shown and the lower section could, I think, be legs, a tail, trailing darkness, or something else.
