Topic: #wordcraft - Fledgling IRC community for IF lovers
While I fully realise the high likelihood that for many of you the fact that I am a totally new member posting advertising on my first post will turn you right away, as it stands this is one of the few options I have in getting this channel started.
For many of you this forum may be where you go to discuss Interactive Fiction, either as fans or developers. What we seek to do is bring this atmosphere into a more casual conversational area, where people can help one another grow in a more fluid way.
I may not be the most knowledgeable person in this area, but this is also why I began this channel. I want to learn more, and I want to allow this channel to do the same for others.
Believe me when I say this is a fledgling community. I could count the number of regular active members on one hand, but the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
