Status : Offline | Ok, GreyFuss - I read the review you linked me to - it does say there's a bug in this game: Quote - "And now to the reason why there was a second time through—I hit a gigantic bug about three-quarters of the way through the game. Without giving anything away, suffice it to say that I needed an inventory item from another room to retrieve an inventory item in the room that I was in; I did not have said inventory item from the other room; I went back to get it; and when I returned with it to retrieve the other inventory item, the other inventory item was gone. Completely. As if it had never existed. And yet another inventory item that I had used to trigger the part where I needed to retrieve the inventory item that I needed to retrieve was also gone. (Huh?) Never to be seen again. And guess what? I had unwittingly saved it that way in my one lone saved game. (I suspect my neighbors wondered what all the cursing was about ... and I bet they guessed wrong.)"
Do you recall if you were able to finish your copy of game/avoid the bug, or did the game frustrate you to no end? Yes, I saw your latest PM to me tonight - still considering if I should buy it.
EDIT - if this game proved too frustrating for you/you couldn't finish the copy of your game (regardless of what you did to fix/avoid the bug) that's *pending* to be sold to me, I may pass on it.

Status : Offline | All I can tell you is that I finished the game with no trouble and was not frustrated in the least. Well maybe just a little as the main character moves a little slow. Status : Offline | Well the 4 fat chicks review talks about a bug where 3 inventory items disappear near the end of the game - you mean this never happened in your copy of the game/how did you avoid this bug?
As for the character being too slow that's ok, I'm used to this. Plus I can play this game in VMware Player under Windows 98SE on my XP machine, right?
- what walkthrough did you follow? Is it possible to keep overwriting your one alloted save space in the game as you play?
Still debating if I should take it - is it possible to answer my latest questions (this last here) about the game?
