Status : Online | :-? :-? Well, I hope that something happens soon because it was briefly available for pre-order back in February, so I duly placed my order and paid. I looked a few weeks later and noticed that it was no longer a pre-order item. I've purchased quite a few games from here as I just can't wait until they become available in Australia  we're sooooo far behind everybody else) and have been looking forward to this game since it was first mentioned. If I hadn't already paid for it I think I would have given up waiting by now.

Status : Offline | Akella's website lists Dead Mountaineer's Hotel as having been released in 2007, however, I saw this "preview" dated June 8th, 2009 on their website:

Akella Games were kind enough to send us a 'Work in progress' copy of Dead Mountaineers Hotel for review and critique.

Status : Online | Thanks for the link Mara. Nice to know that there's light at the end of the tunnel. Still wish that I hadn't pre-ordered though, I could have spent my $$ on a game that was definitely available.

Status : Online | Hi Halcyon, I didn't even think of that at the time that I placed my order. I was ordering two other games at the time, both of which were in stock and were shipped immediately  you've got to love the service - whenever I order games they arrive within a week, and I'm in Australia!)  ead Mountaineer's Hotel appeared on the payment page, and it was included in the total price so I paid quite happily. I don't in any way blame Interact because they were only acting on the information available to them.

Status : Online | So is it time to officially give up hope on this ever being released in English? I've been looking forward to it for a long time and it seems we were so close to release a number of times. Might make for an interesting article or interview for JA+ to get to the bottom of what happened.
