[size=22]Dear Len I'm so sorry to hear this. I remember the fun times we had when betatesting Rhiannon together. And your input on these boards and your walkthroughs have certainly helped me more than once when playing an adventure game. Good luck to you, Len. The positive side of this is indeed that you have your family around. Thanks for all the things and work you have done for the adventure community and for this site over the years

Warm regards from
Karsten

Deleted User[size=20]First and foremost. I have not type a single word or letter of the following. Everything has been done solely by a first-class voice to text program, my voice of course. I have not yet mastered the punctuation facilities. Also the several howlers argue to the fact that the artificial intelligence of the program has not yet fully adapted to my personal voice. Paragraph

secondly I want to thank all of you who have wished me well. I thank you all very sincerely. Paragraph

third and last. I want to apologize for misleading you to some extent unintentionally. It was due to my lack of knowledge a week ago. My macular degeneration has gone increasingly fast over the past year and I thought that since it has been getting worse almost exponentially with exponentially all the time I would fairly shortly be completely blind. Paragraph

I know what that's like since I'm totally blind in my left eye. When I close my right eye I'm in absolute total blackness and I cannot see a single finger in front of that open left eye or the slightest ray of the brightest light possible. Paragraph

however when I went for my fourth injection of loocentis into my right eye, my highest specialist mentioned just casually that people never go completely blind with macular degeneration. I later confirmed this with a friend my age who has the same trouble. Paragraph

as the bard said double quote for this relief much thanks unquote, and I would like to pass this is very important fact on to any who like me did not or do not know it previously. There are very many millions around the world will suffer the same malady stop I read that 10 million in the United States alone. Paragraph

during the past fortnight I have also acquired two good text to voice programs and to excellent magnification programs. These have enabled me to continue with to the beta tests and even to write one short walk-through. Paragraph

so beware folks I'm likely to comes back to haunt and confront you all bracket Caroline??? unbracket from time to time.

[size=24]This is excellent news Len and I'm sure you are greatly relieved.  I have thought of your plight quite a bit with a deep sense of horror for you.  It seems that the voice recognition programs are doing an excellent job.   Which ones did you get?  And can it read text to you?

Deleted User[size=24]Wonderful to hear this news Len.  Somehow I just had this feeling all along that something would work out.  I had noticed several times recently that your account was on-line and it made me smile knowing that family or friends were helping you to at least keep up with the goings on here.  The voice to text and vise versa technology is wonderful, and even if the end result looks a little different I'm sure we all can live with it.  You know, I can't recall a single lively debate since your departure......some of you will have to be a bit more careful from now on.

Deleted User[size=22]Excellent news, Len!  I new you were a fighter, and wouldn't take this lying down!

Well, the site has been rather boring without you, so it's nice to see you posting again!

We hope to hear from you again soon - please keep us updated!
