Yes, I know.

I never realized my opinion was a matter of such public importance that merited this much attention and concern...

I agree with your comments on remakes of old films Gonchi - they never ever seem to capture the essence of the original & for me the 'modernisation' doesn't usually work although they may do for a new audience?
But there is a large gap between the technology in older films compared to the earliest 'visual' games which by far are a more recent form of entertainment. They don't translate too well on a modern screen & I have to disagree that you can compare updating graphics on them to adding colour to an old B & W movie! As long as the original concept is kept they have to be more of a joy to play on a full screen with clear graphics rather than as 'pixellated' screens & characters!
Traveler - have you just added an L or have I been getting it wrong all this time! ?
The Monkey Island series were the first games I played on PC & would love to see particularly the 1st made with better graphics (as long as the characters are the same & the stories are not changed at all!)

Don't feel bad, her last post wasn't directed at you at all.
You shouldn't have any problems playing Secret of Monkey Island with ScummVM. Or just wait for the Special Edition to be released, you can switch between playing the original version or the remake.

What do you think about the control scheme? The thread in their forums made 16 pages of complains and suggestions in just a few days. I personally prefer the classic point'n click interface. I played their Wallace&Gromit and I wasn't confortable handling both mouse and keyboard.

I very highly recommend picking up a nice gamepad though. I think you'll find Wallace and Gromit play immensely better with it. You also can also sit back and relax when using a gamepad which I've found leads to me having longer gaming sessions. Anyway, just a thought to improve you experience with current and upcoming TellTale games.
