Status : Online | I read it at work and my thoughts are is it real? was it created by someone who knew that by putting in that format it would generate a lot of attention and agreement by the friendly, casual way it is presented to us?
Not that I don't doubt the major comments regarding the economy, etc.
I guess what I am asking is did someone really do this or created it to get their point across in a more acceptable manner. ???

Status : Offline | Didn't see this before, it's certainly interesting and so far as it being a "private" message - methinks the lady protests too much. Our daughter is a journalist and it's not really the sort of thing most would do unless they actually did want it to "leak" out.

As Gayle said, no doubts about the comments...but the point is if you can really believe in notes written by "a friend of a friend who writes for Newsday" ??? Has anyone checked there? Just to find out if "Laurie" really exists...and is a journalist, of course. Anyway, Michal is right: everyone likes conspiracy theories, they're just too fun :
