First my outcome was 27 ((3+4)-7)
But 3+3 has the same outcome: 27
and 3+2 also has an outcome 27
And my next outcome was 72 (8+2)-10
So there are only a few (I'd say 10) real outcomes
Those 10 outcomes changes equaly, everytime you restart.
Changing those symbols only by the outcomes you know the answer is, makes it like he's of she's a wizard.
Very nice.

The numbers 10 - 19 generates the answer 9
The numbers 20 - 29 generates the answer 18
The numbers 30 - 39 generates the answer 27
...and so on. The last number is 81. As you can see, all are multiples of 9.
Why this is the case is easy to see if you use a little algebra:
Let's say the number you choose is of the form:
A * 10 + B
where A is any digit from 1 to 9 and B is any digit from 0 to 9.
Next, you subtract the sum of A and B from this number:
A * 10 + B - (A + B)
Removing the paranthesis gives:
A * 10 + B - A - B
which simplifies to:
A * 10 - A
which in turn simplifies to:
A * 9
So, the second digit doesn't matter at all! Your "secret number" will in fact always be the first digit times nine.
Try a few runs and you will see that the website always generates the same symbol for the nine multiples of 9. The rest of the symbols are generated randomly, including the "magic" symbol.
So, unfortunately, no mind reading there... :-/

Symbols are generated each time you restart...ok, that pretty much explains the whole mind reading.

No, it doesn't know! You think of any number between 10 and 99, but when you do the calculation you reduce the amount of possible numbers to 9, no matter what your original number was. As I explained earlier, it is the first of the two digits that determines what final number you end up with, as the second "cancels out itself" so to speak. Even if you have 90 numbers to choose from in the beginning, you will end up with onf of the numbers 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72 or 81. These numbers are always given the same symbol, so you're always going to see the correct symbol in the crystal ball. The rest of the symbols are generated randomly.

Anyway, it surprises me that so many people doesn't get things like this. It doesn't take much knowledge of math do discover the trick. I've seen other examples of this in magician shows on TV, and there's always some calculation involved that reduces the space of choices to one or a few. No magic involved at all!
