Status : Online | I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, yes, that's the title. Difficult to recommend or not recommend. It completely depends on your tastes. You might hate it or you might love it. It is a rather macabre game.
Make sure you get Day of the Tentacle, it's one of the funniest adventures ever. Well worth six quid. Sam'n'Max is in my opinion not quite as good but definitely worth playing.
If you mean Mystery of the Druids... most people disliked it, I thought it was okay.
Haven't played the others yet (though Syberia should arrive any day now) so I can't comment.
I forgot my sig.

im really desprate to play it. anyone in the uk wanna swap something?
Its boring, there isn't any action at all. You walk around picking up things and using them with other items. You walk around and use the item on something. Walking around and talking to people is really lame, what about some shooting or something~APuddleduck&&

Status : Offline | Try Ebay.com. The other day I buyed Kingdom O' Magic (another rare gem) from UK. I Have No Mouth... is one of my favorite adventures but I recommend it with reservations. Its one of the most disturbing games I've ever played... and I like that I also recommend reading the short story by Harlan Ellison. It has a terrible ending (way more disturbing than anything in the game!!).

My question is, will those games run on today's computers. I mean a quality that would be okay, some computers won't accept the old games and if they do, it winds up being a bunch of little squares.

Almost every game I tried worked excellent with this app. It, as the title suggests, emulates a PC with an S3 Trio64 and a SB card.

IHNMAIMS is in my to-play list (a rather long one!) but i've heard pretty good stuff about it... can't give you a personal opinion though
between Sam'n'Max and DOTT i would get BOTH!!! Well SnM first, i found it better that DOTT, but they both are great fun
about the other games, maybe you should check the Syberia threads in this forum... personally i recommend it but i always warn that it's TOO DAMN EASY, especially to experienced adventurers... Jack Orlando was nice but could be very frustrating at times with its dead end situations... but it has an easy level that could be, well.. easier! i liked it anyway... as for mystery of the druids, i liked it at first but then i got bored of it and left it halfway thru... i am still planning on returning to finish it, i just don't know when... keep in mind that it contains one of the most shocking scenes (imo) of all time!!!
You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

Status : Online | "I have no mouth and I must scream" is very hard to find. When it sells on ebay, it usually sells for a lot of money. If you have the game, you might want to hang onto it. I like science fiction, and Harlan Ellison, but the game appeared to be too depressing for me.

From the ones you wrote, I bought Syberia, loved it, in my opinion one of the best games ever and would recommend it to anybody with a desire for good stories. Day of the tentacle is also an excellent game and it has some of the most original puzzles ever.
Sam and max didn't appeal to me but it did to others. Mystery of the druids... I consider it as one of the worst purchases I have ever made. If I knew how bad it would be I wouldn not even want it for free. Jack Orlando...I have it but never played it :-).... I'm a busy man.

www.harlanellison.com/herc.htm
It sells (brand new) for $32- U.S.
The only caveat... they won't ship this game outside of the U.S. - but you could have them ship it to a friend (or a friend of a friend) that lives in the U.S. and have them forward it to you.
Personally, I enjoyed the game, but I must admit I've liked every horror adventure game I've played (except maybe the last half of Phantasmagoria 2). The plot and the (old-style) interface are great but the game has some frustrating dead-ends, so it might depend on how much you like the genre. MichalN was right, you'll probably either love it or hate it. Now getting it to run in a non-DOS environment...
Good luck!
