Status : Online | Like you said, chronotigger, it's a new situation for the judicial system to deal with. I guess we'll find out as it unfolds in the courts.
Personally, I think parents should monitor their children's cell phone usage more carefully and make sure nothing like this is even an issue (easier said than done, I know).

Status : Offline | Similar laws exist here and the govt is currently running a campaign to educate the school kids about the dangers involved in sexting.
I think the problem occurs with the circulation of such material.
Ahh.... the perils of being a teenager. When I was young it was only sex, booze and drugs and possible rapists you had to worry about. Now it's your mobile phone .... :
Actually, I wasn't that clued into sex at that age and I blame co-ed schools. [smiley=nono.gif]
