Deleted UserHeh, I thought my own game captures had gotten lost in the shuffle SuperEdy.

I realize I dissed the game recently in the Downfall AGD thread, and I apologize for that since I ended up buying the game using a discount coupon from one of the vendors.  In truth I was actually quite impressed.  The graphics are pretty much abstract (especially the blood scenes) Very impressive and shocking story here.  As a matter of fact I'm doing a re-play to see the outcome whereas I choose not to have [s]sex[/s] intimate relations with the ghost.

Deleted UserI think it's RTMI2.

By the way, if you don't mind my asking, how do you remove the cursor from the screen in games like this?

It is indeed RtMI2!

I use Adobe Photoshop to erase the cursor.

Thanks for the warning, Cultura.  What you posted there, certainly feels like a damper, I must say.

Yes, I finished Drawn quite long ago already, I played through it quite quickly.  I tend to finish my AG's quickly unless I get stuck due to technical problems, or lost in the game.

Although Drawn had a few challenging puzzles here and there (I had to look up on the hints twice)  I'd say it's pretty hard to get stuck in the game, if you're not too proud to use the hints system when necessary.
It's a lovely little game, really nice and atmospheric- you should really make a plan to finish it, why haven't you?

In any case, thanks for recommending it - that was a good break for me, and in fact, I've somewhat changed my attitude toards Big Fish because of it.   8-)

So, after this post I just had to go back to Drawn the Painted Tower, and yes, it is a welcome break for me too. It is very moving, the artwork is absolutely stunning and very peculiar. It is almost art in itself. Some may say it is a bot morose, but I quite like that sense of tristesse (sort of reminds me of arriving in Valadilene for the first time)

You are right, Hatchepsut.  Machinarium has been added to my all-time favorites list.  Who would have thought that a robot could have such an expressive personality?
