| Deleted User | Wow, those look beautiful, Cultura! 8-) This is not perhaps a casual game, is it?

| Deleted User | OK. Admittedly this one might not be very challenging, although it does seem rather 'unusual.' I'll look for something else more suitable for the trivia buffs tomorrow. 8-)

Status : Offline | It is Drawn, The Painted Tower. I would not categorise it as an casual game at all. So far (I am playing it now) it is much more like any traditional AG, P&C, inventory, conversations, the lot. And with very high production values, as you can see from the screens.

Gee, well your screenshots have convinced me to try and find out where I can buy this. Thanks Cultura!

You're right Shany. It's a glitch or what some might call a bug-lite.

Traveller, I think you can find this one at Big Fish.

That looks stunning, Cultura thanks so much; - I really really REALLY want this game, but is it only available as a download from Big Fish? [smiley=cry.gif]

Status : Offline | I think so. But at $ 6,95 or so, there's not much of a risk if you ask me. I subscribed two months ago and download a game once a month, which costs me then $ 6,95.
So far I downloaded Painted Tower, Dream Chronclies 2 en Nostradamus, so I'm quite happy with it.

| Deleted User | Ok, I've checked. What makes me happy is that it seems to be a relatively small download, so I might just go for it. I don't have time to search for small print now - so I wonder if you know if this is one of those "single activation" games? Could I save it to disc and play it again later if I so prefer? Don't worry if you don't know; I'll research it when I have time, if you can't tell me.
Oh - and can I unsubscribe from the service at any time without undergoing a penalty?
(...and must I pay $6.95 every month and dld a game every month?)

Status : Offline | I cannot answer most of your questions. I pay 6,95 a month, get one credit with I can download a game of my choice.
You cannot burn these files on cd, the cd won't work. I tried. But I suppose with simple tweaking it might well work.
They do offer a CD to go with our download, I think they charge $7 extra for that.

Gee, golly gosh! $7 EXTRA! Why? A CD/DVD doesn't come close to costing that much, not even if you take the recording and printing on the cover in consideration... >
Anyway, the game looks nice enough for me to investigate getting it, in spite of the fact that some of the conditions and terms of use surrounding the purchase gives me pause. Like you say, after all, $7 is not a lot of money for a game .. :-/  it is just for a CD, though... ) ...and the game reeeaaly looks nice... :-/
Thanks, Cultura!
