Yup!

Playing it right now. Beautiful game, but the interface can get a little frustrating.

in an attempt to speed this thread up even more, wouldn't it be an idea that anyone can post a screen as soon as the right answer has been given?

But of course.  It would be preferable to show a link to 'proof', of course, but if you feel confident enough that you were correct, I agree that that would be best, Cultura. Less stressfull for both the poster of the shot and the person who guesses.

..um, wait.. -"anyone"??   :-?  Weellll.... maybe we should only do that if the person who guessed gives his turn away - otherwise, of course, it should be the person who is sure he guessed correctly who should post next..

Shall we do this thread similar to the "other games" thread, and have two unidentified pics up at the same time? It seems to work rather well in that other thread.

I think that's a good idea. Gives it a bit more scope.

That 'anyone' could also be the first participant to come along after the original poster has stated the right answer has been given. It takes a bit pressure off to come up fast with a new sceen after you've just given the right answer.

Hmm, well, if there are two pictures going at the same time, the whole idea of that would be to take the pressure off.  We could even make it three, since up to four has worked in the other thread; -but take into consideration that the other thread has more participants.

So I think we should let the guesser keep his turn, unless he/she pertinently gives it away. If two other shots are allowed to be up, it will automatically give each person time to put his own shot up. So what do you other people think of having 3 shots at a time?

I think 3 shots is a good idea.  People can't be on the forum 24/7 to watch their shots, especially the ones that are more difficult and take more time for people to guess.  No more than 3 though.

Triple buffering always was very useful in games; why not in games about games?
 I'd say it's a good idea.

You can't kill someone in a studio.

Since it seems we're all pretty much in agreement here, I'm positively confident Traveller would say 'go for it.'  So, with that said, we need two more shots from anybody.

Perhaps I could simplify things for your little student.    The proposed changes don't really affect the general rules, just the format.

To Camaroboy: It sort of looks like Return to Mysterious Island, but it looks a little dated compared to that, so I don't think that's it  :

And oh goody, more screenshots for Meghan to not have a clue for

.

Hopefully with this plan, I'll actually get one

I gave you everything to die with a smile, all you wanted was to live for a while&&you took everything but it left you empty&&you can't replace me, you can't.&&&&It's almost over and here we are, we're stuck inside this salted earth together.&&you'll pierce my lungs, my limbs go numb&&as my colors fade out, you watch me bleed.&&you watch me bleed.

Welcome back Meghan.
Return to Mysterious Island isn't correct as you predicted.

I only get a very small percentage of these myself but hopefully with more shots posted everyone's odds should increase.  Let's see what happens.

well, the only risk now is that a game is shown twice.... or thrice

Since we now have 3 shots at a time, let's be slightly more relaxed about the rules. Many would argue that this is more a casual game than an Adventure game at all.
