Correct, sir! Well done.
I'd always felt attracted to the game's pretty Japanesey look.

No takers on this famous game?
I remember the day I bought it. My sound card wasn't set up correctly, and I played the entire game through, never knowing there was music. Voice and sound effects worked, so I didn't suspect a problem.
Later, installed it to replay on another computer and imagine my surprise when all the audio was there.

Slightly cropped to remove interface elements that would give it away immediately.

It is part of a series. While it is a very easy shot if you have played the particular game, the palette and whole "feel" of it is very uncommon for the particular series, so it's not easy to guess via similarities to the other games.

I clearly remember though that a large part of the game had to do with repairing a huge spider-like robot and finally activating it (in an awesome cutscene!) in order to proceed.
