I wonder which "Mine Train Going Through a Tunnel" era this screenshot is from. I'm going to say this screenshot is from Zork: The Nemesis.

I love mine trains going through dank tunnels in Adventure Games. Always thrilling. Never know what's going to be at the end of it.

Well, your Nemesis is not going to be found at the end of this tunnel, since it is not Zork. Nice try though.

This looks like the tunnels in Myst; but I recall the train controls always being visible. (Unless maybe they were cropped away?)

Thanks. I'm going to throw another name out there:

Lighthouse: The Dark Being?

If I'm not mistaken, Cultura's screenshot is from a game I've also played and enjoyed, it has it's weird moments but has a great jazzy soundtrack, so to speak...

EDIT: hum... guess I was wrong after all! After checking some screenshots of said game, they don't seem to match this one... oh well... :-?

Since you all seem to love trains and tracks in games (as do I), here more from the same trainyard....

(Yes, that means your guesses so far where wrong).

Images are not cropped by the way.

Wow guys, I would have thought this game was played by many, since it was one of the earlier, but good FMV-adventure games. Not a top 10 game, but with plenty of talent (and even a genuine actor) in it.

Well done Mark, that's the one! Though many thought Tim Curry overdid it, I thought he was quite well cast as the nutty professor.

Oh No! And I HAVE that game, and played it ages ago. Guess my long-term memory isn't so long any more.

No sh*t? I got it? Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster was my first thought! Agh!

Those two games look very similar, Mummy: Tomb of the Pharoah and Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster,   don't they. Or maybe it's just that I used to see them bundled together a lot in the bargain bins.

I wasn't crazy about this game, but I know it was really well-made:

That'd be Bad Day on the Midway - interesting game.

So... let's try this one, and yes it's a Windows game...

Ooh, The Museum of Broken Memories, if I'm not much mistaken!

The Museum of Broken Memories is one of those that I list amongst my favourites, I think - it makes for a wonderfully strange, sometimes eerie exploration, as I recall.

MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

*ahem*

Sorry.
