Deleted UserIf I remember correctly there used to be a thread around here somewhere that almost encouraged posting VOG's or for that matter anything that didn't conform with the original guidelines of the 'Easy ID' thread.  Oh, there it is, down in the trivia section.  I see it has been sitting idle now for around three months.  I guess all I can do is suggest that it too be given a boost to the main sections of the forum.  I realize that there probably will be arguments against this but in my opinion I think it would be beneficial to most to separate the two once again on comparable playing fields and avoid uhm situations of potential conflicts of interest.

Edy, like we had agreed long ago when people where still threshing out the rules for the thread, we can post anything that falls under Adventure or even hybrid adventure, but if it is for DOS or a console platform, we should mention that fact.

...also the game must be released already, and it must be available in English.

If it has not yet been released, I suppose we could post it as long as it is available in English, and as long as we state:"This Adventure has not been released yet."

Gelert, as long as there was a review for it somewhere, that still falls within the 'rules' but if it's a DOS game, strictly speaking we should actually mention that. However, if it was for both DOS and Windows, we need not mention it ; originally the rules said that we had to mention it if a game was older than 2000, but then many people thought that was unneccesary so we removed the "2000" part.

How about we start a thread where people can really post anything they like to challenge the rest of us?

Yes, I know these threads actually fall under "Trivia" which is why they were both originally down there, but I do think it makes the Adventure forum more fun to have the easy one up here.

I wonder if it would improve the situation if we asked the mods to move the other thread up here too?

The easy thread was actually meant more for the general gamer who isn't an expert in these trivia, and I do apologise if I myself have not been a bit more involved in this thread that I'd started, but it is supposed to be the more easy-going thread...  :-/

Hey, Nik, there's another thread that you might enjoy, called: "Let's see if we can challenge you."  You are just the sort of person that such threads are made for...    :

Thanks, Traveler, but I'm a middle-weight triviator at best. Still, I always like a challenge

Sorry, not Tunguska.

It is a recent game. I begin to suspect nobody has actually played this (yet).

I think it is only available as a download at a large international mainstream gamesite.

here's the main location.

I'm sorry, Gelert, there was a misunderstanding, the second sentence was not meant for you, I even added a blank line.
If anything I was making fun of Traveler who threw me tomatoes for posting screenshots of Glass Rose. I was just pointing out to her that I'm not the only one who uses obscure games in the easy thread, besides she told me to write if I used a console game, so it was only a silly joke on Traveler and I sincerely hope she will forgive me for that ( to Traveler)
Actually I prefer difficult shots, mainstream games were already beaten to death in all fora.

I'll forgive you if you post in the new thread I made just for you... (and a few others who know their games very well)

Oh, and I suppose Art of Murder: Hunt for the Puppeteer won't be an easy enough game for your shot.. - I do remember doing a puzzle with a similar scene in one of the Art of Murder games.

Yes, it's Overclocked, the hospital from a different angle

Have you noticed, Cultura, that the carpets in Hotel are all the same. They must have bought them wholesale

Wow, SuperEdy has got it! It is indeed Hotel. Well done!

The carpets, eeehh... yes. Well, it is a rather unpolished game with not too high production values. Quite enjoyed it, though it is on the easy side.
