Bah. Now it's all back to the drawing board again... let's see, an ancient tower; summoning; a powerful magic user... :

Had to check a walkthrough to see if there was a tower. You're in a dark room but you are not alone. You'd like to join those around you in what they are doing. There is only one course of action to take, and it's not finding the lightswitch.
