I've said lots of times in my life "I can't wait for smth", but this is one of the most meaningful ones: "I can't wait for this game!!!! I CAN'T!!!!!". Most anticipated game of the year for me (followed by Dark Fall 3) and certainly one of the games for which I've felt the highest levels of anticipation in my entire gaming life! 8-) (can't wait I tell ya)

You have gotten the attention of the mysterious lady. She turns to face you. Her face is devoid of any flesh. You are frozen with horror as she begins ripping your body into a bloody mess.

.

With the announcement of both Culpa 2 and Syberia 3 - plus Grey Matter still lingering tauntingly on the horizon... things are starting to look a bit brighter for we PC AG fans.

With top talents like Sokal and Jensen still in the game, along with Jonathan Boakes, the crew at Strategy First, and other commercially viable AG studios - we could see a very nice spurt of creative activity over the next few years. Add to that Quantic Dream's upcoming Heavy Rain for the PS3, which I so hope will eventually be ported to the PC, plus whatever Funcom does in the genre and ME LIKEY!

Cheers, Terry

Thank you Terry for all the links. I loved Fahrenheit except that I thought the controls were set a little too much on the difficult side (for me!) but I did finish it! I will be following the progress of this game with interest.

Syberia 3? Did I see it right?

And omg, I loved Fahrenheit to death (for me its the viable way for modernization of the adventure game... plenty of choices, non linearity, 3d graphics and a little touch of combat to make it a little bit more challenging... if Dreamfall were made the same way, I'm sure it would be THE game of this new century)... im so excited about this new game. Is it a sequel?

And yeah, I liked Culpa Innata as well so I'm looking forward for the new one.

Hope these games finally meet our expectations after so many dissapointments!

Playing: Skyrim (ongoing)

Last Finished: can't recall, been too long.

Syberia 3? Did I see it right?

Yes, after much speculation in our recent "A bone to pick with Microids" thread about an April Fools Day announcement by the developer, it appears as if it was not a joke.

Karla sent an e-mail inquiry to Microids and her following post was what resulted.

I've just received the following reply from Ines Pauly, press contact at Microids:

"I am sorry I did not answer earlier, but actually the news about Syberia 3 is not a joke: we will launch the sequel of Kate Walker's adventures for sure. I will deliver further elements next week on this. However, I confess there are elements in our previous communication which were April Fools...

"I hope this clarifies it and you will wait for our next release next week!"

So Syberia 3 is real, and maybe the PC/PS3 hybrid deal is the joke?

Whatever the case, it's a relief to me that Microids is not lying about Syberia 3 being in development. As far as the rest of it goes, we'll just have to wait until the next press release.

Cheers, Terry

I thought Culpa Innata had the most intriguing game world of any adventure game in the last five years at least. I would be perfectly happy even if the sequel simply improved the less than stellar graphics, but they seem to be far more ambitious than that  [smiley=hyper.gif] [smiley=hyper.gif] [smiley=hyper.gif] [smiley=hyper.gif] [smiley=hyper.gif].

Thanks for all the support, interest, feedback ... have to say we keep track of what is being said here by JA members on a regular basis

One correction,,, but very important to the team

Strategy First was only our North American Publisher (and only for a time for game one, Culpa Innata) Can't say more for legal reasons, but they definitely have zero to do with Chaos Rising... and certainly had nothing to do with the creation and development of game one.

Momentum A.S. and our global Culpa team is and has been the sole creative talent behind both Culpa Innata One and the sequal Culpa Innata II: Chaos Rising.

Note to Aya: Please mail me... have some things to share *grin*

I don't remember, but I think you don't see the inside of the gym. But she does go to the gym. Don't remember if there were any special requirements, but probably not. You just go to the pyramid during the day, find the gym and enter. ... I think...
