Status : Online | Well, we already knew from the trailers, that the graphics are bad, by modern standards. Even more so for the choice to go fully 3D. Low-budget 3D is rarely a good idea. However, this is not a big issue for me, though the nicely detailed backgrounds were a highlight of the original. The quality of the story, cutscenes and puzzles will be of far more importance (have heard some negative, some positive, comments on these).
I've had an interest, though not necessarily high expectations for this game. The original was a tenuous success for me, and largely succeeded due to presentation. There was always a strong chance that the sequel, made by a different team, would lose the touch of quality that made the original an above average AG. I guess I'll see for myself when the English demo comes out, if they see fit to release one, otherwise I'll have to rely on the impressions of others.

WAsn't still life internally developed by microids? So why not stick with them?

I think Microids is just a publisher now. http://www.justadventure.com/Press_Releases/MicroidsOutOfBankrupcy.shtm http://www.syberia-series.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&p=12700 Their development side went bankrupt. If I'm remembering correctly, the developers themselves went to work for Ubisoft afterwards.
