wasn't Jordan Mechner working on this? The Last Express has a masterful, superlative storyline, I just wonder if I would like to see it on the big screen, there are so many things that could go wrong. and it would be harder to replicate the mechanical pulse of a train, a steam train no less!

Yes, and as in The Last Express. But I vaguely remember that movie idea was abandoned years ago.
